Sharon, I am So very sorry. Also angry that he had been hit and no one reported it! Bless him. I would think it would have been very quick so hopefully he didn't suffer at all. He is safe now in the arms of God, waiting till you meet again. He'll be watching over you from above. God bless you Sam darling and your loved ones. x

We have found Sam ,sadly he has been killed on the road but had not been reported. thanks for everyones help and support

Hi Sharon - it's Jaxx's owner. Thank you for keeping an eye out for Jaxx. I am sorry that there isn't any news of Sam. I know it's heartbreaking and you wonder where they can be. I am still looking for Sam as well but have not seen him in the areas I've covered. Fingers crossed for some good news soon. x

Still no sightings of Sam,very suprising as we are close to southdowns way, any suggestions where to look, hoping lots of walkers are out this weekend,posters are everywhere.Missing him.

Thanks looked at guiness not Sam, Dogstrust have got Sams details so I hope they would ring me.I think dogs have to be in home for a while before they put them up for rehoming, at least I hope so !

There is a new black lab gone on the dogs trust at shoreham website called Guiness. It says he is between 5 and 7 years. Please take a look

Have just had a message to say a lab was seen in Stanmer Park on Mon or Tues , pretty sure it was not Sam as had a blue collar. It spent an hour running up and down looking for someone.I have put posters up in Stanmer just in case.but if anyone else is missing a lab maybe it was theirs hope it has found its owner. No other news about Sam sadly.

Have been alerted to your missing lab whilst on the search for my own missing dog when we were looking in Fulking. Have been keeping my eye out on my travels around the Downs and will continue to do so. Know exactly how you feel and hope he comes home soon. Pixie.

Thanks angi have covered some of those places will be back out tomorrow with more posters , lots of people have seen posters so is working ,have also handed out doglost posters out to any dog walker I have seen,still hoping.

had good walk around today where Sharon indicated -no luck :-(
a few ideas for posters where lots of dog walkers go that you may have already thought of anyway.
The Ditchling road car park at top of stanmer park. Waterhall by brighton rugby ground. Sheepcote valley and Withdene park ( lilac park) are also very popular. x
the area around the pub at devils dyke.

Spoke to and advised owner. Sam is very very friendly, he is castrated and microchipped. He is a family pet and much loved and missed. Now been missing 6 days so he must be somewhere. angi, please contact owner on mobile number on poster and talk to re helping, thank you.
