- Still not heard anything on Denbi have tried all your suggestions thanks very much. Still not sure if they escaped or were taken will not give up looking though!!

- Scent marking - can you put something where your other dog was found - not nice I know, but I would have thought that if in the area, Denbi would stay local to the scent of your other dog. If he is old, then taking him away for breeding sounds out to me, so would suggest that not far away.

- Have Denbi on twitter + will circulate.

- Jackie, does Denbi have a Facebook page at all or would you like one setting up? It will help spread awareness of his disappearance and maybe lead to something, an idea anyway, I'd be happy to set it up if you're unsure how to, or explain to you how to xxx

- Thanks everybody for all your help i will contact a local paper to advertise further afield and keep checking with local boarding kennels etc... been four weeks now he has totally vanished. No sightings so strange as he was always with the labrador they were inseperable!!

- So sorry to hear that your other dog was killed. Perhaps they were both on the motorway and someone managed to rescue Denbi but took him out of the area? Are you able to get a mention in your local paper and widen the search area as far as notifying vets and rescues is concerned?

- Hi Jackie, so very sorry to hear about Denbi and the tragic loss of Kizzy. I live in West Sussex and am doing a dog training course with Sheila Harper in Staffordshire. I will email Sheila and her team and ask them to keep an eye out for Denbi. They may be able to help by contacting vets and shelters. Keep going and keep actively searching. I was lucky and got my Benson back after he was taken from my garden over this Easter Bank holiday. Take care and my thoughts are with you.

- So sorry your other dog was killed on the motorway. Maybe if Denbi saw this happen he could be hiding away close by. Might be worth checking the area. Bumping to top now clear photo is on site.Last edited: 2011-05-18 07:42:26 by AlisonH

- Sorry to see that DENBI is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (29855)

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
