- Whilst searching for another yorky that is missing, I came across this post from 4 months ago. It describes how two yorkies were found and kept by the finder(s) http://www.southport.gb.com/showthread.php?t=50461288&page=1 - I don't know if you are still looking but it is worth a try x

- Very good coverage on these two in the Medway News. Postering at Riverside Country Park is a must as there's so many walkers and especially at Sharp's Green. Am keeping my eyes peeled xx

- My appologies for not keeping in touch.
I spoke to my police contact who informed me, after researching the facts, which also takes time, that since the beginning of the year, there have been 3 reported thefts of pets in the medway area. which I suppose does not signify a crime wave to them, and although they have been helpful and sympathetic what more can they do?
I contacted local tv news who told me I had left it too late but they put an article on their facebook page. however i did contact them about 'Kasper' aswell, in the hope it may re-ignite some interest, luckily 'Kasper' is now home safe and sound.
We still have a few people putting up posters in and around the area, but we have found that some places are reluctant to display in the window and will only put them up by the tills, we are grateful for even that.
It appears so far that medway does not have a dog warden, or if they do he is hard to find.
Sorry alex if you think I have not tried to find them, this could not be further from the truth. I find your comment somewhat offensive.
To all who have given your help free and willingly We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We have not given up. - 2011-06-01 00:39 Alex

- any news?
- 2011-05-19 16:36 Alex
- Is there a local radio station in the area and if not then get some one else to report it to the local paper and emphasise how comom dog theft is getting and maybe add that they can be used for some direputable uses, anthing to get the public aware, some one must notice when a neighbour or friend has 2 new dogs.

- Oh no, sorry to hear these cuties have been taken.
Please look on all free ad websites, gumtree, preloved, pets4homes, ukclassifieds, epupz etc... Incase they are trying to sell them on there.
Poster like mad, every where you can think off, local cab offices, super Market notice boards, local brownie and cub groups, all vets in area, etc...
If they been stolen to sell on, they may slip up and put on free ads , or sell down the pubs so poster all pubs.
I really hope this pair are home soon... I will cross post to other dog forums for you. - 2011-05-18 17:11 Shelties Mum - Area Volunteer, Kent
- It's important to poster Riverside Country Park and Motney Hill. I'm just back from there and there's nothing up. There are so many local doggie walkers there it would be very useful and to contact the vets. I would also poster in Chatham and Upchurch. Will keep an eye out. Sylv x
