So pleased this darling girl is safe. Well done to all concerned - and especially the two boys who spotted her originally this morning. I hope you're feeling better tomorrow sweetie. xx

It's always a huge relief to hear of a dog being safely reunited and even more so a gorgeous greyhound. I really hope that she is OK and want to congratulate everyone on their hard work to find her. Good luck young lady & I hope you have a happy & safe life. xx

Little Josie is spending 24 hours at the vets, she is very dehydrated and has skin missing off all her pads but otherwise I am sure she will be ok. Many many thanks to all the people out there who gave up their time to help us look for the little girl, people I have never met in some cases who were all searching and also the many calls I had with where she was seen. Without this info we would not have been able to narrow down where to look for her. A very special thank you to the 2 paper boys who spotted her early this morning, didn't try to catch her but just kept their distance and waited for help to arrive. Without them we would still be looking. Pat

Phew!...Wonderful news! Bless her heart. XXX
Jacqui
She's been found everyone, I've just heard, haven't many details, but is safe, will let Pat update further. Good job everyone !!
Abe babe
That sounds like a really good idea Karen; a bit like aromatic beacons! But I suspect with this little one she'd still remain invisible...
It's raining hard here (Hundon) which is lovely for the garden, but I'm imagining what it's doing to my posters! I didn't make them waterproof.
Spiritdancer
I dont know this area, but something that worked for another charity was midnight barbeques by volunteers in various locations. It led to both missing dogs being found on seperate nights. Might be useful idea?
Abe babe
Is anyone near the Henny Swan?, it will be busy today so lots of people to ask.....(not that she will go near if it's busy of course) but with people on the river someone might have spotted her.
Abe babe
...or is it Henny Street?...I've just looked on the map...
Abe babe
Is it possible that she's sort of followed the river?....considering the lack of puddles and such..otherwise she's going to be very thirsty? Worth looking round there perhaps? If that's the case she could have headed for Little Henny by now.
tansy
There was a possible sighting of her yesterday afternoon, either at 3pm or 6pm near the Stevenson Centre, Great Cornard. Other than that sadly other leads yet. We will be over there this evening. Pat

Thank you KittyB that's sound advice, all the people searching for her will be aware of this x
Thank you to everyone who is helping with this lovely girl, hopefully we will get some sightings of her today, keep safe until you are found xxx
Abe babe
May I suggest something that while obvious to many, others may wish to consider: When an animal is fearful it's thinking levels are high and therefore will not 'hear'. When approached by humans who's voice pitch is raised (although well-meaning) the animal's level of thinking will raise also, which will only add to the anxiety already present. The animal will then only wish to escape the 'new' fear which has raised it's thinking... and therefore run.
It is extremely important that if anyone has the opportunity to speak to this dog, they should keep a very calm, lower and even tone and also have in their mind a picture of well-being, not of capture as she will also feel your intent ...which should be one of peace, not urgency. Be assured, she will sense what you have in mind.

There have been no sightings of her since 11am yesterday. We have given leaflets in all the areas where she has been seen. And there are posters all over the area. Really need a call to say someone has seen her. Pat Starling

I have just got back from searching Peoples park, Sudbury upper school field, Talbot road and mayflower way. Spoken to lots of dog walkers, given them leaflets, one young lad saw her on the school field last night, as his dog tried to chase her, but sadly no sightings tonight. Will keep looking tomorrow.
Gem Smith
we spent a few hours looking at the wrong end of town! a friends niece saw her running towards east street from the traffic lights at 11 this morning. i've made a note of this on the poster for the sorting office so with any luck they may report a sighting.
Jacqui
A group of us are going out this evening, joining up with Pat to search for this little mite, just hope she is ok.
Gem Smith
mr dotty tells me i'm going nowhere until i've eaten! after dinner i'm taking the family down instead. in the mean time i've printed out a poster for RM sudbury. i'll make sure mr dotty waves it under the noses of the relevant posties.
Jane
I'm a bit searched out at the moment after Mabel :(
Baburgh don't have a dog trap sadly and wouldn't really help me in anyway find Mabel. The posters helped no end, Rosemary said that smaller places were more willing to put up than some of the 'bigger' highstreet names :( Post Office, Roys probably will do it. Pubs, the licensees of the one by the market square are really nice people. I'll keep watching and see what else I can think of
Gem Smith
i've got to see someone and the i'll go down with my BC for a look.
