Well still no news on Roxy, i must admit i am feeling at a loss. I really dont think shes near home anymore and althouh i know shes somewhere, i feel like im being pretty useless at finding her. I hope whoever has her looks on this site and has a heart, me, my partner and my little boy miss her so much, AND I WILL GIVE A REWARD TO WHOEVER HAS HER. I dont know how ill cope if i dont hear something soon, it really is as though she has just disappeared. Shevaun x

Thanx Gina, the longer shes out there on her own the more i worry, i just hope shes being looked after. All the sorts of people that you really wouldnt want to have your dogs in my area, i really dont think have her. Which gives me some comfort. Ive spoken to people who know these dodgy people and apparantley Akitta dogs are what theyre after now So everybody please keep a close eye on your dogs, we all think its never going to happen to us, but were all proof on this site that it does. Still no luck with roxy yet. I spoke with the traveller liasion officers secretary, who told me that he cant remember seeing any dog like Roxy on the sites ever. (funny that, considering he didnt have a proper description, all he knew was she was a staff! of course he wasnt available to talk to. But i insisted on phoning him tomorrow. So we shall see. Spoke to someone who thought she may have seen Roxy (twice) on the same route as she walks her dog. Obviously it may not be her, but were going out tonight on the prowl. I dont know how id be if it turned out to be her. Fingers crossed, ill keep you informed. Luv Shevaun x

Well the echo published a bit of Roxys story, but they didnt put her picture in (so i cant see it doing any good) I am so annoyed that i just phoned them and all they said was unfortunatley we didnt have the room. I told them that the whole point of it was so that perhaps someone would recognise her, which obviously isnt going to happen now! They told me that they cant put it in now as it isnt news for them anymore! I am feeling really annoyed and dont know how to go about this one. Any suggestions? Luv Shevaunx

Ive just got off the phone to my local paper and they are going to publish my story! I mentioned doglost about 50 times and sang your praises! I also told them how useless the police and rspca are in these cases There was an attempted dog napping in my area today so they are going to run both the storys together, They contacted the police who told them that there isnt much of this sort of thing going on(doesnt that make you laugh!) ill let you know of any developments thanx again for all your support Luv Shevaunx

I live in the north but I am still looking out for Roxy. I look at the dogs in rescue pounds on the net and if I see any staffies I always compare to see if any match up on doglost. If there is anything else I can do for you please let me know. Thinking of you. Gina xxx

Well ive just done the rounds and phoned all the animal shelters been out postering (attacking people in the street, supermarkets etc) I went down the local social security office but they wouldnt put a poster up for me, however they said they would put it up in their staffroom. I wouldve liked to have put one up in there as i think with the type of people that steal our dogs i may have had a result. But i will just keep on trying. My mum thought she seen her yesterday and stopped the car, got out and inspected this dog! It wasnt her, the owner thought she was a bit strange but after she explained my story was sympathetic. Oh for gods sake where is she? I pray to god shes safe and well. Shevaun

Thanx daisy i was just feeling a bit low then i spotted a post from you, i really appreciate all your support. I really feel like im getting nowhere at the moment ive had no response from posters, ive seen loads of people who would know the sort of people who wouldve stolen roxy and they say they know nothing! Which means either shes with someone nicer or shes out of the area. theres a possible sighting of roxy near to where i live (just the sort of area where you would expect to find stolen dogs) i am going to be searching around that area and also have got a few friends on the case so hopefully something shall come out of it. you never know it may not have even been her but worth a look keeping everything crossed. shevaun

Shevaun, I was just reading Roxy's page and I thought I look again at Ralph's page (I can't look at it very often because it's so upsetting) and I saw your kind note about Ralph. I can understand what you're going through. I was shocked by that dreadful tale of the Staffie stabbed to death... Birmingham Dogs Home have just called me, they have checked all the SBTs there from the description given and by trying the name. They have printed the photo and its on display. So if Roxy makes her way here she will be spotted

Just been reading about scruff it makes me so angry that people go to so much effort for people to turn around and throw it back in peoples faces like that i was speaking to jazzie earlier who was going to go and look in birmingham to see if it was roxy but she was waiting in for scruffs owners to come first i just want to say thanks to scruffs owners for that, not only have they let scruff down but theyve held other people up on their search for their dogs

Have emailed a picture to Birmingham Dogs home for them to have a look. I have also explained to the staff about Roxys ears, I will ring them back later this afternoon. They are very busy at the pound so Im hoping they will have the time today to do it.

ive been intouch with birmingham kennels but was told "we cant go and look at the dogs youll have to come down" i explained that i lived in cheltenham and could they perhaps look at the picture of roxy and if they think it could be her then i could get a lift down (i was told no) i got intouch with jenny down there who is going to see what she can do she told me that there is a gypsie site down there and they are getting a lot of staffies so its quite possible she could be there im just waiting to hear any news. then i hear a horror story that there was a staffie thrown off abridge up there (tthankfully wasnt roxy, but still someone elses poor pet) ive got a few ideas of what to do with these sort of people! i would apreciate any ideas any one may have on getting my roxy home ill keep you all informed Shevaun

i will be ringing birmingham as soon as it opens i will let everyone know if it is roxy or not (fingers crossed)

thanx everyone for your kind words theres a staffie been found in birmingham but this ones 2 years old however im going to ring tomorrow just incase (you never know) jayne thinks that roxy may be closer to me than that though (as the maority of staffies are found close to home) so lets just keep our fingers crossed shevaun

Hi Shevaun, what a terrible thing you had to do, to identify a dog - even if it wasn't your own. Roxy's colouring looks very distinctive, almost a reddish glow to her. I did see a similar coloured dog in the many tears rescue in wales but it has far more white on the chest, but i did double check just in case. Keep on postering, make sure people know that Roxy is still missing, and let us know how you are doing. xxx

Roxy looks a little stunner. It must have so so hard for you when you found out about the other dog stabbed. What a sad end to a beautiful life. Hope Blues found story gives you fresh hope. Thinking of you Sharonx

no news on roxys whereabouts yet im missing her so much cant think that i may never see her again i had a disaster the other week a staffie had been found stabbed to death and left in a river the local dog warden asked me to go and identify it but i just couldnt stop crying and couldnt bring myself to do it so my mum and brothers went thankfully it wasnt her but get no joy as it was still someones pet i am begging everyone to help me look for roxy i feel lost without her please please please help thank you shevaun

still no news on roxy im gutted its been 6 months but i cant give up ive put posters up in local shops animal shelters etc thanx to abbiee for putting up posters if i can help anyone let me know im in touch with my dog warden but not getting any leads someone knows something so please help if you can she is very friendly and i just hope she hasnt got in the wrong hands we all miss her so much

Right! After some faffing, i've created a poster for Jasper, Roxy and Libby (easier than displaying 3). I've singled these dogs out because they are either a) recently missing or b) very local to me. Amendments can easily be made so let me know if anything is amiss.
