I've put todays date for reunited due to not know when she was actually found

I sent a email to Jessie's owner to see if she was still missing.

This is the reply i got from Jessie's owner:
"she was apparently found and taken in by someone who didn't check her for a chip (but she was apparently well looked after)- however, some months after, she was killed in a traffic accident. Sad, but at least she was being looked after in her last months."

So sad :(

R.I.P. Jessie, run free over the Rainbow Bridge xx

Got a call from a lady a couple of days ago, who lives not terribly far from where Jessie vanished (Belfast). Her dog disappeared in similar circumstances. It was suggested that he may have been stolen by travellers.
If this is the case for both of them, we can only hope they're being looked after, perhaps in each others' company.

Unfortunately still nothing.. posters up, wardens / rescue centres etc in the area are aware of her but she seems to have completely vanished.

Text sent for an update.

False alarm, unfortunately; the dog in the picture first entered the dog pound on 11th May and has since been rehomed.
Goldenfrodo
Fingers crossed this is Jessie xx Good luck.

Got a text from a girl advising me to have a look at a rescue centre website; they have pictures of dogs from the local pound (which told me on Saturday that she wasn't there).

Certainly looks like it could be a dishevelled, wet, Jessie. Will ring them in the morning.. fingers crossed. Similar markings: note the lack of black on her head, small 'eyebrow' (left hand side), grey end of tail, massive paws.Last edited: 2011-05-29 10:56:13 by sheepy

Photo rotation corrected, photo/s cropped and swopped over as the one in Poster Image box is much clearer for the poster. Keeping everything crossed she is found soon and we see her in the blue. Jan x
