- oh dear reading all your lovely remarks for my boy has had me in tears, but in a good way, it just goes to show that even in a society such as it is there are still good people with good loving hearts and for your kind words i thank you all. im sorry that it has been a drizzly day today (sunday) but my boy died here on wed so he only just got to the bridge today and got a bit upset when he realised he had forgot his mummy and daddy, but he didnt sob as sandy (my previous dog) was there to meet him and she showed us to him and saw that yes we are very sad but that we are sad because we love him so much, when he realised he is not in trouble for leaving us and sandy could show we still and always will love him he has started to settle in now, but he is a rather busy boy trying to keep the girls away, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

- Becci, I am truly sorry. I hate the trains. My dog was killed in the same way, so I understand your pain and my heart goes out to you. I am so sorry you cannot retrieve Kauto's body but don't worry because God knows where his body is and He will retrieve it for you. As you say, Kauto is still your little boy and always will be. Dogs never leave their loved ones, ever! He is waiting for you, when it is time, you will be together never to part again. Bless you Kauto and bless your mummy. With love, Kim x

Have you asked if you can put a poster up on the Tesco & ASDA notice boards? Will ask my uncle to put a poster in his workshop (behind the petrol station at Littleworth) so his customers see.

- Have you contacted Birmingham Dogs Home 0121 643 5211? If one home is full dogs can be taken to others but I can see that you've covered a lot. Make sure everyone you contact has a picture of him as people remember photos better than a description.
Are his chip details up to date?
Can you set him up a Facebook page to get the word out? If you can't let me know and I'll ask someone if they can do one for you.
I'm not familiar with where he went missing but very often dogs will retrace their steps and return to the place they went missing from. Have you checked any streams or ponds? Are there any rail lines that he could have got on? If so you need to contact Network Rail 08457 114141. Are you near a motorway? If so check Highways 08457 504030 or email
ha-info@highways.gsi.gov.uk They are responsible for Motorways and major trunk roads. For other road enquiries you need to contact the highways dept of your local authority.
If you think he might be still in the area maybe drop some smaller flyers with his photo on through letterboxes.
Someone could have picked him up over the weekend so not been able to take him anywhere yet. Hopefully his chip will get him back home soon. - 2011-05-30 18:58 becci31
- hi sue still no sign of him and our hearts are breaking, the dogs homes i have contacted are ; swanpit, sunnyside, petwelfare, city dogs home, and have contacted aldridge voluntary animal rescue via there questionaire, and also contacted serendipity kennels via email, i still have rosendene, dogs trust and rspca to contact, we are just hoping now to make it that public that hes missing that someone will take him to a vets as he is chipped, xxxx
