So pleased that Lucy has been found and reunited. I also think its not a good idea to leave dogs unattended, as a dog local to me was also stolen in this way (happily reunited). You should be able to, but it is just not worth it is it?

You are so right Jackie. People do not seem think there is anything wrong in tying your dog up outside places but there are a huge amount of dogs stolen this way all over the UK. I wrote to all major supermarkets, some time ago, asking if they would allow a poster to be put up warning people of the dangers, but the majority said no. I have posters & if you want any, please post on here.

So glad you found Lucy... I work in Tesco's and the amount of people who tie their dogs up outside is horrifying... we often check outside and keep an eye on the dogs.. they come in all shapes and sizes often just puppies.. most of them love a fuss and it would be quite easy to take away... please don't do this it's an accident waiting to happen nowadays... stay safe now Lucy xxx

Thanks for updating us Anji. That was a good and quick result. There is far too much of this going on. Why do people think that they can just steal other people's dogs?

Lucy has been found. A grooming parlour noticed a lad in a hoodie taking her, assuming she belonged to him. A bit of further investigation and owner went to lads house and Lucy was reunited. Police are invoved.
