there has been a sighting of gypsy over at bloemfontein in stanley, a friend says there is a famly living not far from her that have lived there possibly 6 month at the most who didnt have a dog but now have a young rottie bitch with a docked tail and was really hyper which gypsy was.i was told this yesterday, my friend is waiting for the dog to be in the garden again and then she is gonna ring me up and i am going straight over to see if it is gypsy.
BBKM

another possible sighting of gypsy yesterday a lady who i know says she seen a young couple walking a rottie that looks like gypsy in the south stanley area, buy the time i went to where she seen them walking the dog they were gone.im gonna see if they are out walking the dog tonight so i can rule out whether this dog is gypsy or not.
BBKM
This is good news, lets hope it is not too long until she is seen again. If you need me you know how to contact me. Fingers crossed xx
linzilo
I spoke to the gentleman that had phoned me the other day saying that he had seen gypsy up at stanley and he is certain that the young rottie that he had seen at stanley looked like gypsy. The only thing is,is that the man said he didnt pursue it as a man he was talking to said that there was a young lass with the dog so he just thought that maybe it was her dog,he didnt stop and think that possibly gypsy could of been sold on to this girl or she could of had something to do with her disappearance,it wasnt until i actually mentioned this that he thought about it.So now he says if he sees the dog again he is gonna contact me straight away so i can get up there and get a look at the dog.
terrierlady
will keep looking for her - not sure if you are aware but dogs found in Stanley will be taken to either Deerness Langley Moor (website you have looked at) and Stray Aid Coxhoe - they both post images of found dogs so look daily at the websites.
linzilo
hi terrierlady ive just had a look at the rottie on the site u gave me and it aint gypsy, that rottie has a bit to much brown on its face.gypsy has more black than brown.thanks for helping anyway.im grateful for all the help, ppl just keep looking please.

I went over to the millenium green yesterday at bloemfontein because they had a fun day on and i thought maybe gypsy would of been over there as lots of ppl had their dogs there, but i didnt see anything.
terrierlady

Get some posters up by the bus stop and bus station, is this the station opposite the jet garage? i gave some leaflets to a member of staff in there to give to bus drivers and to pin up on their notice board. Also you can check to see if any cameras around there, maybe station or garage and they might have a look for you, its worth asking, good luck x if you need help you have my email or tel number x
linzilo
i recieved a phone call yesterday from a man saying he had seen a rottie matching gypsys description in stanley, she was seen running around, and when he had come out of the bus station in stanley the dog was seen with a young girl and the dog was on a lead,so he did think it must of been the girls dog,but he got home and checked the poster that had been put up at the allotments and he deffinately thinks the dog was gypsy.he didnt say where the girl was heading.but im now wondering whether this is gypsy as there has been more than one sighting of this dog up in stanley.
BBKM
linzilo Gypsy could be anywhere, even very near to you and whoever has her will probably keep her hidden until they think it is safe to bring her out. Keep postering, they do work. You are right never to give up looking, please read the reunited pages, they will give you hope xx look at dogs Poppy 24959 - Marley 30129 - Marley 28314 xLast edited: 2011-06-10 21:14:37 by BBKM

BBKM
linzilo have you not had any possible sightings or info yet? hoping Gypsy is sighted soon, stay positive and keep out there postering xx you could try asking your neighbours to look in their garden sheds etc check unused buildings, barns etc just incase she isn't with anyone and has been wandering and may have found herself a cozy den xx

BBKM
Don't worry if she is up near shops she will get food from scavenging at night then she will maybe have a hideout through the day. Lets hope we get a positve sighting soon. If she is on the run we could now have 2 points of a triangle? xx

Just got back in, been to South Stanley, Craghead and Stanley. I have handed flyers out to dog walkers, taxi drivers, takeaways, louisa swimming pool centre, community centre and a few corner shops in this area. Spoke to one lady who thought she had seen Gypsy up near Asda and Peters bakery in Stanley one day last week ??? The dog had no collar on but she was sure it was a small rottweiler.
linzilo
another possible sighting of gypsy, she was possibly seen on stanley front street outside petters bakery.
i really hope it isnt her as that means she is wondering the streets, she has no idea where she is and it could also mean that she is going without food.
linzilo
my email address is linzi22femaleuk@hotmail.com
BBKM
linzilo try ringing a local radio station and ask them to mention gypsy. Is there anyone helping you look for her. Also what about a flyer to hand out and put on car windscreens, I can help you, I have typed up a flyer, 2 on a page, with her picture on, if you have an email address I will send it to you to check it and if its ok we can get some printed off and distributed xx Stay positive and patient, I know you must be worried sick its awful when you are getting no positive sightings xxxLast edited: 2011-06-04 22:00:33 by BBKM
linzilo
no its not its close to craghead ive been out putting posters up there today.there is no cctv cameras that i could check on.i live close to bloemfontein its no more than 5 mins away and the same with craghead but i have been out asking about to see if anyone else has seen anything and they havent.she doesnt know the area she only really knows the south stanley area.
its is terrible because i just have no idea where she is or whether she is getting looked after properly, all sorts of things are running through my mind..im never gonna give up looking for her.
BBKM
Linzilo is this in Burnhope, can you tell me please, and also may be worth postering all around there. I was around the Grange Villa golf course area last night, kept a look out for her. Also are there any cctv cameras nearby, on shops etc if any???? Do you live close to here, will she know the area xLast edited: 2011-06-04 18:49:05 by BBKM

I am up near beamish after 6pm tonight will have a good look around this area and try and poster for you. I am at family gathering and i'll spread the word up there that she is missing x
linzilo
im closest to beamish side but im just worried that she has been took out of the area.yeah i informed the police but when they came to see me they couldnt understand how the dog was taken because my padlock had not been broken off the gate, they tried to say the pup had jumped the fence when there is noway she could because the fence is nearly 6ft.ive rang round everywhere dog warden, local vets, kennels the lot but still nothing, id be grateful if you could ask ppl to keep an eye out for her.
BBKM
Where are you closest to, Beamish side of Stanley or Consett side. I have family in both areas so will let them know she has been stolen. Also have you informed the police for a incident number and let your local dog warden know. Keep putting your posters up. I will keep checking for updates. Hope she is returned to you soon x
linzilo
i havent heard any news yet about her, she was stolen out of my garden as there was no way possible for her to get out of the garden.my gate was padlocked and there was no way she could of jumped the fence as it is way to high.the only thing i can think of that has happened is someone climbed the fence and took her.i asked everyone in my street about it and no one seen or heard anything. im living in hope that i get her back i am putting posters up and i have rang round everywhere, i have also put a reward up for her safe return or if anyone has info leading to her whereabouts.
BBKM
Any news on this pup? was she stolen or lost? x
