Sighted within last hour in the Beacon area. Local resident has seen it over a few days and been given food and advice on how to assist. Rangers are aware. Still skittish so anybody seeing her please be patient.

Sighted Collie confirmed as Ben as he has been successfully caught just now :-) Another doggie safely home & very delighted to be so!

Had a text update from Withcy-poos at 17.50pm. The BC has been sighted again, helpers are looking for it.

No sign of Collie in Ingol & food & water left untouched. I checked this morning about 7.30 ish & this afternoon at about 2.30. Asked the people that live on the property to look out for it & talked to quite a few people. Will nip down this evening & change the food as the flies are settling on it. Mumstaxi has been in contact & lives very near where the Collie was spotted so it helping look for it. No idea if there's any chance it's Tilly as it's a long way to have travelled, but you never know. We'll keep looking. Fingers crossed Tilly is home soon.xxx

Just been out to look where Collie in Ingol was spotted after being informed of sighting but no sign of it at all sadly. Searched through bushes with bright torch & checked every hidden corner but nothing. Only left there just after midnight, left food & water down in 2 places in the hope that it will return & then drove around the roads nearby in case it was wandering around. Will follow up tomorrow morning. Hope Tilly is home soon, please go down to Leigh dogs & cats home in person, don't rely on them giving the correct information over the phone, mistakes happen!! Whether this Collie is Tilly or not I'll do my best to help bring it in.xxx

Did send a text to owner to alert her to the found on the AW's, she has rang back, does not have any Internet Access only via phone at the moment. She is going to follow the AW one up.

There is also a Tri registered as missing on the AW site 03.06.11 so that could possibly the one below.

I've also been alerted via Facebook within the past hour of a BC running loose in the Preston, Ingol area. I've sent them details for Tilly. Fingers crossed one of these BC's is Tilly. Jan x

Spoke to one of her owners who live in Burnley, they have only had Tilly since last Sunday (29th May) and she was originally a stray. She went missing while owner was visiting a friend and they were on a walk. One of the others dogs in the walk barked and Tilly got spooked and ran off.

Jackie has registered Tilly on DL on behalf of her owner.

I'll update the details to show up on the DL poster. Jan x

Owner must contact Leigh Dogs Home 01942 671215 who may have collected the dog , if found. Also check with the Ranger Station at Beacon Park. Contact West Lancs Dog Warden on Monday, if not found on 01695 585254.
