- Other Info Was found about 01.15 am, & taken to Medivet in Comet Way Southend. He is now awaiting collection, by either the Southend-on-Sea or the Rochford Dog Warden, aparently they take it in turns. I will probably not be able to find out which warden has him until Monday.

- Acres Way seem to have tracked down a trainer for this greyhound, & are hoping to trace the current owner through them.
If they have no luck this boy will be put up for rehoming.
Apparently he's doing well in kennels, & is a real sweetheart, so his future looks good. - 2011-06-06 12:17 Gothicina
- This dog is still at Acres Way, they've had no luck so far tracing his owner via his tattoo. I've added the Acres Way telephone number to his details. The kennels say he is doing well & has a nice temperament, so will be put up for rehoming, if not claimed by his owners.

- Thanks, the Vet Nurse only knew Medivet kept them overnight,she didn't know what happened once they'd been collected. His tattoo was faded & hard to read, so not sure how much help it will be. I've posted his details on Facebook & Twitter.

- Thanks for listing him on here. He will go to Acres Way Kennels either way as both Southend and Rochford Councils use them.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
