- Fantastic news he is home.
Do we know how the finder knew he belonged too ? was it through a poster ?
Anyways, keep safe little boy xx - 2011-06-13 11:03 Goldenfrodo

- Oh - excellent news that this little one is safe. Agreed - microchip and collar and tag are in order as a welcome home present.

- That's good news - thank goodness Armano was found by a caring and decent-minded member of public. I strongly recommend that Armano wears a collar & ID tag at all times in future (actually a legal requirement) and also that he is microchipped as soon as possible. Welcome home Armano!

- Armano was found by a member of the public and owner had to pay £20 to the council.

- Thanks Unicandy for the additional info. Since we now know that Battersea has been contacted (and as ellejay has asked) has Lewisham's dog wardens been contacted (020 8314 2098 or out-of-hours service 020 8314 6000) and SDK Environmental as both Bromley and Greenwich Councils use their services (0844 482 8337). It would be really useful if Armano's owners would register their email address and update us here on Armano's DogLost page. I presume Armano isn't insured - Unicandy do you know the answer to this question as most pet healthcare insurance would cover the cost of postering and a reward. Also, if costs are prohibitive, the DL posters could just be printed in black and white as virtually everyone knows what a Yorkie looks like. I think the newsagents charge around 10p per copy.

- That is literally a 5 min drive down the road from me.
I have been looking around, will poster vets in beckenham and along the Bromley road tomorrow.
Though he may have gone over to the lee and eltham area or furthur down towards catford end ... So all areas need to be postered.
Do we know if owners have contacted dog wardens, ??
Do they have internet access? - 2011-06-10 17:26 unicandy
- I recommended the owner log him on here after taking a lost report. I believe it was Brownhill Road he went missing from - if people could help poster this would be a great idea as owner seemed quite reluctant and also didnt want to make posters up themselves as they thought it would cost money. Not a slight at all as owner was genuinely worried about Armarno but I do think they would appreciate the help.
I also have that he was wearing a light blue collar when he went missing.Last edited: 2011-06-10 17:27:38 by unicandy - 2011-06-09 22:59 Millys Mum
- As ellejay has already said, could we have some more info please? Did Armano go missing from home or during a walk? What time of day did this happen? Has he done this before? Have you called all 3 dogwardens as I know you border 3 different London Boroughs: Greenwich, Lewisham and Bromley. Is he wearing a collar? If so, what type and colour? It's so good to see Helper rawpeg joining in the search as they live close to you and will have plenty of local contact numbers which the family called when looking for their Sally. It's always so good to have someone with local knowledge. And, of course, it's great to see ellejay on the case who also has some personal experience! Just poster like mad and make Armano the best known and hottest boy in town. We recommend 100 posters for starters but 200 is better. Fingers crossed that Armarno will be home very soon.Last edited: 2011-06-09 23:00:56 by Millys Mum

- Sorry to see this little boy is missing, i am a yorkie owner and had one missing a few year sback, so know what you are going through.
Do we know where abouts in Lewisham ? as i am in Bromley but some of it borders lewisham, just so i can see where posters are ?
Do we know if he was stolen or run off ?
Poster the Bromley road heavily, its along road and has lots of takeaway food outlets along there.
Armano looks like a standard yorkie, how old is he now ?
Look on all free ad websites like gumtree, preloved, epupz etc to see if someone has him and are trying to sell him on there.
I will print some posters up and put round my way and beckenham... put a poster in the Sainsburys sava centre in Bell green, thats a very busy place.
hope he is home soon, and i will spread the word.
