Thanks for the texts Alison and Helen to let me know about Tiffy, have had a very brief word with Tiffy's mum earlier and hope we can catch up again a bit later. I am so so pleased to see this gorgeous girl home where she belongs and how fantastically clever is she!

Stay safe now lovely and don't scare your poor mum like that again! xx

Tiffy has come home !!!!!
11.30 last night I heard a squeek outside the bathroom windo, and there she was. Soaked, muddy, starving and thirsty but otherwise fine. Not even a scatch on her thank God. She had a remnant of her flexilead still attached and it looked like it had been cut through. Maybe someone found her wound round something and freed but couldnt catch her to bring her home.
If only she could talk !

I want to say a huge thank you for your amazing group and I would like to make a donation to you.

I also wondered if you could ring me to talk about phoning our local paper with the whole story and I would use it to the thank Doglost and give your website and ask for further volunteers. What do you think ?
And can you put Tiffy as FOUND.

Speak soon,

Charmaine Slade

Hi Lizzy, Tiffy freaked out and ran off at 6pm on Friday 10th June, (last Friday). Hi Hayls, thank you so much for looking for her, she is so beautiful and we miss her terribly. Not knowing what has happened to her is the worst. She could well have run in the direction of Haverhill. Thanks everyone,

Oh how awful for Tiffy's owners. I will email her over some Essex contact details and spread the word. Please make sure the RSPCA Danaher home is alerted, preferably send them a poster also. Auntie Katie - has owner been able to leave an old towel/item of clothing in the area do you know.....incase Tiffy is lying low being so nervous. I will mention it on email anyway. Hopefully local press will run an appeal given what happened so maybe owners could get in touch with them on Monday. Hope Tiffy is home very soon. x
Auntie Katie
Tiffy went missing yesterday evening (about 6pm) she was spooked by some young lads and bolted off, Tiffy's mum held on to the lead but the force she went off at has pulled her over, she banged her head very hard and it knocked her out for sometime. The lads did try to find Tiffy but she is very very nervous so may have gone to ground in the area. Her flexi lead is still attached but we think its not locked. If anybody is in the area and able to help please let us know as Tiffy's mum is suffering from quite a bad consussion and is unable to drive. Her children are doing all they can. Will email general information and notify all the Cambridgeshire dog wardens etc in case she has been picked up this side.

If anybody does spot Tiffy please contact her owners or us rather than trying to approach her. Last edited: 2011-06-11 12:58:52 by Auntie Katie
