Sadly Bobby is still missing. His family are devastated. They are continuing to search and have posters everywhere but there's been no news or sightings of him.
Stay safe Bobby until you are found.

Thank you, Bobby is actually my brother in law's dog but they cannot get online so I have registered Bobby for them. They continue to search for him and contact local rescues, pounds etc but still no sighting. I will pass on this advice also, thank you very much, hoping Bobby is home safe very soon, family are devastated and really concerned for his safety. Posters have gone up in the area but will widen that area. Thanks so much x

As a thought, are there any old mines, or caves there that need checking? Or any farms to be notified? Check for food areas too as dogs need to eat and either eat wild or find a food source from shops etc. Good luck, we are rooting for you and Bobby! x

Owners, please do everything in the advice post below - this is imperative. POSTER heavily in the area Bobby went missing and then further out as far as you can. Return to the rescues & vets to ask again. I would contact them all in a 10 mile radius or more if you can. Are there any waterways, railways, roads nearby? If so you must contact Network Rail for any sightings, and check the council's cleansing depts, Highway Agencies etc. You need rule these out. Have you double checked with the dog warden for your area? Local council office? Try getting some publicity - contact the papers, put adverts out, most important POSTER as much and as far as you can. The public are our eyes and ears. Dogs are very resilient and can survive very well in the "wild" or he may have been taken in by someone. Have a look at some of the other dogs on this site - especially in the Reunited section. You will see that some of these dogs where out for ages and still they were found! You may get some ideas of how to help get Bobby home quicker. Keep updating us on here and we can try and help further - get those posters up! Come on Bobby, come home darlig. x

Admin
Sorry to see that BOBBY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (30369)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
