- Sadly nothing new Scrappy. It looks like he has been taken as there is absolutely no sign of him. Many more posters are needed around the area and the owners said they would do this. Make the dog too hot to handle. We all hope he gets home soon. :-)

- 2011-06-26 15:24 Angus
- Sadly the same for us cookie, we spent an hour and a half walking and chatting with dog walkers - most of whom were aware of Burt being missing but no one has seen him at all, we had Burts lead and tried one of Rachels dogs at following the scent - although he got excited a couple of times there was no sign.

- We are looking to meet up with owners to try and cover all the ground around the area that Burt went missing on Sunday Morning - early around 8/8.30 Meeting at the Irish Centre and depending on numbers split up or walk as a wave - please be aware that cow parsley and nettles are waist high so please wear full sleeves and full length trousers if you are joining the search.

- Sorry didn't update earlier - was poorly all day yesterday after I got back and at work today. So many places he could have gone into hiding. Please get more posters up by all the building works anyone who can get up there and around the allotments. Someone may be feeding him, or someone may have him safe at home with them. The more posters the better. Stay safe little one. x
- 2011-06-20 15:22 Berties Family
- diddnt see about the search, I have walked the area but diddnt see many dog walkers - need to wait for sightings as there are just too many places to hide
- 2011-06-20 08:46 Angus
- Sorry Scrappy2010 there is no more news on little Burt, Rachel and I walked the area yesterday with our 2 dogs but it is a very large area and the meadows are full of waist high cow parsley - a small dog could be inches away and not be seen - neither of our dogs showed any interest for scents either, there is a path that leads up to the canal tow path if he had followed that he could have been picked up with out being seen. The canal was heaving with fishermen yesterday so there will be a good food source if he is still about from their sandwiches. Have advised owners to get more posters up as there were places that are not done but a family emergency has added to their worries so any help with postering would be appricated

- 2011-06-15 01:37 Taygen - Area Volunteer, Milton Keynes
- hi my heart goes out to the owners, i hope he is found soon and safe. i am able to go mannor tmorrow afternoon and or evening, as a bus seems to be relatively easy, however if someone has better transport and could offer a lift from coffee hall, perhaps with a well mannered dog to walk i would apreciate that. secondly is anyone in a better postion than me to print off some posters to aid my search, would be willing to pay ink costs or something to hand out to dog walkers. i have shared this link on my facebook wall, to some dog walkers in the area, the coffee hall dog walking club fb page and also added the link on to dog watch fb page plus forgotten dogs rescue fb page. anything else i can do please do not hestitate to contact me on 07947586141.

- Burt Reynolds is a much loved member of a pack of rescue dogs who all visit local special needs schools to help children with learning and physical special needs so we really need to find him for the children as well as his owners, team MK we really need your help on this one
- 2011-06-14 20:22 Angus
- Have spoken with Burt Reynolds owners - he is one gusty little rescue dog - he has a damaged neck which is why it tilts to one side and he needs his daily pain killers - he will by now be exhausted so may be laying low. Owners were on a walk with their other rescue dogs and some friends and his disappeared within a space of about 5 minutes - owners did not notice anyone else around but there is a possibilty that someone may have picked him up. The area that he was lost was close to Dobbies garden centre and the Irish centre, in an orchard near to the allotments. Owners other half has been in the stream and searched incase he has fallen in and got into trouble but there was no sign of him in the water. He has been missing since 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.
Owners have been incredibly procative - all vets, wardens groomers, pet food shops all notified. - 2011-06-14 20:08 Angus
- alerts going out to helpers in all MK and LU1 -7 Postcodes
- 2011-06-14 17:35 Angus

- Sorry to see that BURT REYNOLDS is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (30406)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
