A BIG thank you to everyone here for your support, checking in here every few hours or so gave me hope and a really positive feeling. Thanks especially to Mollychops who was a real support during this awful time with kind words and great advice. POSTERS DO WORK! Every sighting we had came from a poster. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!!! Kai is well and happy to be home being spoiled! Jo xx

Kai is safe !! He has been caught by his owners who were rung by someone who has seen his poster . He was running along the Cheltenham Road, owners went there and saw him , called his name and he jumped into their car. Just the best result . Welcome home Kai XX

Just received voicemail from owners daughter at lunchtime. Kais owner is a lecturer at the college, but doesnt live there. She had taken Kai into the college to the dog groomer, when he escaped. he does not know this area as he hasn t been there before. Im so pleased it apppears he is staying close, I will now email out scenting advice, this will lure him in hopefully ! The earlier sighting this morning was in a park across the road[a busy one] from the college, so Ive suggested she starts scenting at this point where he was last seen. The postering is going well !Last edited: 2011-06-17 18:25:34 by Mollychops

Most important thing is to POSTER heavily in the area Kai went missing, then poster further outwards. Keep on postering. It is the public that acts as our eyes and ears and it really does work. Leave something of yours in the area he went missing as dogs do come back to that place at some point, if they can, and your scent will keep him close by. You can do this, good luck! Keep safe litte one, or rather big little one! Let's get you home sweetie. x
