Contacted the dog warden and Edinburgh dog and cat home this morning. No record of this boy, so hopefully he's been claimed and is back home. I'll keep checking if anyone has any more news.

West Lothian police used to take all dogs to the Edinburgh Cat and Dog Home, presumably via WL Dog Warden, Dog Wardens number is 01506 775353. This is not to far from me so I will watch out for lost posters etc

EH27 is a relatively small village in West Lothian called Kirknewton. I'm sure someone must be missing him. I'm happy to travel up to see him to get a photo and poster if needed. Any idea where he was taken ?.

Thanks wickedweims. :)

I was alerted to this found boy by a DL helper via FB and someone else has also posted the details on Brooks FP group, below is the reply from Caroline:

Yes I received an email this afternoon, and also a lovely Scottish lady rang up this evening, but I'm afraid it's description doesn't match Brook's. It goes to show, just many people are looking out for him all over the country!

could this be brook ?
