- Called again today, the dog was put to sleep on Saturday 9th July as he was found to be aggressive towards other dogs. I presume, as he was fine with my bitch while I searched the park for his owner, he was aggressive towards dogs. Heartbroken.

- Another update from Battersea (I called with my heart in my mouth) - the big guy is still there two weeks after I found him. No owner has come forward, I believe he's been assessed and it's all ok (he was an absolute sweetie with me, no aggression). Fingers crossed he finds someone who has the skills to look after him. x

- Yes, Dolly is at Mayhew, "my" big guy is at Battersea. Update from them - he's not been claimed, his 7 days are up and they are assessing him for rehoming.
"Dolly" was posted by Angela at Brent Council; I'd already been in touch with them last week when I found "my" lad so she may have done the math and connected them. or not .. - 2011-06-28 19:54 lesleyjane
- Looks like Dolly is at Mayhew, just checked her pic.xxx

- Is Dolly at Battersea too? It'd be interesting to know if hoe they react if they see one another.

- Glad you saw a poster, Lesley - I haven't had one call, not even a prank call (when I lost my cat two years ago I had some kid telling me he'd found him and had skinned him .. and me on a tube train trying not to use language that would shock/offend my fellow travellers ((cat was found locked in neighbours empty house)) ... ) I'm sure the two dogs are connected - same date, same area - too much of a coincidence.

- Saw the lovely poster you put up at Harp, finder.....so hope he is not pts just because of his breed. Yes, I saw other dog found nearby, bet they are connected, poor things.

- I don't know that there's any point in posting the photos, it's becoming clear this poor dog has been abandoned. I note there's another dog found just around the corner from where I found this guy. Coincidence? Or someone clearing house. :(
