HARVEY IS HOME. Just had a call from one very happy owner. While she was attending her daughter's open day today she got an anonymous phone call from a lady who said she had overheard a conversation of a woman who said she had Harvey and wasn't going to give him back as she was fond of him. The caller gave an address in Stanley Rd, just 2 streets away from his home. Owner drove round there but decided to wait for her husband as it looked a "bit rough". When her husband arrived he banged on the door for about half an hour and could hear Harvey barking but nobody answered. Eventually the occupants opened up and Harvey came running out and was immediately put on a lead. He has a cut paw and seems a bit confused but otherwise is OK. He will be going to the vets in the morning for a check up and a microchip. Tracey would like to say A BIG THANK YOU to everyone for all the help and advice she has been given.

ive been out walking the area twice a day looking with my dogs and no sign and as others have said no one i've seen or spoken to has seen harvey either. not going to be able to go out this weekend but my dog walker will be on the look out for me.

Spoken to owner this morning while she was out searching, sadly still no news of Harvey.

Hi - cant get out at the weekend as working all day both days but if there is a sighting, I can go out in the evenings if someone lets me know.Large obedience show both days at Rugby club, Scartho (Grimsby) if anyone can get over to poster/flyer?? Also local show at Jerry Greens - not sure which day, but that is a rescue center, not too far away - might be worth a try?

Sorry have read previous comments thoroughly & see that Harvey has been with his owners since 7 weeks old & is chipped so dog I mentioned earlier definitely not him. Hope you have Harvey returned to you safely soon

A dog, black lab, was found Penistone/Thurlestone area of Yorkshire. A friend of mine posted about him on facebook on 26th June. They had him advertised as being found on Penistone FM radio. He was chipped but previous owner, had died . I hope this is your dog & I hope this has helped. Do let us all know. Good luck !

Have spoken to Tracy again this morning and she is still spreading the word about Harvey. More posters are going up and she is widening the search. Owner is really grateful for all the help she is receiving especially that of Carley who has been out searching.

Asked a fair number of people and did alot of walking as well as giving out mini posters to people walking, but nobody asked has seen a dog of Harveys type on his own so far - will try again tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks Jo and Brian. I have spoken to Harvey's owner this morning and the found dog could not be Harvey as they have had him since he was 7 weeks old and he has never been chipped.

A labrador cross has been found - ID 30672 in North East! As yet there is no photo, but well worth checking.......

Hi. Drove about covering all neighbouring roads yesterday afternoon for around three hours - it was so very hot, I would imagine he had gone in under the shade somewhere! No signs nor had anyone seen that I asked. Lots of labradors generally but none without owners about.

Owners put up posters today and have contacted all of the relevant authorities, radio stations etc. There have been no sightings so we are assuming that someone has taken him in.

Area same as missing dog Brutus around Weelsby St. Harvey ran a few yards up the street to meet the girls coming home, as he always does but for some reason he just ran straight past them and hasn't been seen since. I am going to try and get over today but can't go Monday so maybe between us we can cover the area. Will let you know what has been done when I get back.
