I know this is the other end of the country, but reported in today's South Coast leader newspaper 29/9/11 - Two dogs found and rescued by Lewes Council in East Sussex – one is a Pappillion. No description or gender given. Seaford Dog Rescue have been unable to trace backgrounds but have carried out a health check and will put the dogs up for rehoming.Last edited: 2011-09-30 16:25:27 by M

please make sure you put that she is neutered on the posters, so anyone who may have stolen to breed knows she will be of no use to them.fingers crossed she comes home safe.Put up a poster in dogsrus or whatever it's called in bramley as they are very near that area and get people in there selling pedigrees.

Yorkshire Evening Post have covered several stolen dogs recently, including Axel, so well worth a call. I have sent the owner a text about this so hopefully following it up as the paper covers a large area. She is so cute, fingers crossed she is home very soon.

Sadly still no news of Kizzy. Owners have checked with all the stray kennels, vets and dog wardens and postering is being done to raise as much public awareness as possible and make this much loved pet TOO HOT TO HANDLE ! Hoping that kizzy is back home again very soon !

Leeds dog warden is 0113 2224406. I think they use Cliffe Kennels on 01226762391, Alfies Kennels on 07961810279, Mount Pleasant Kennels on 01302 722748. Fleet Kennels cover Bradford 01274 880408, they will know the dog wardens number. Good luck

Kizzy's page updated now. She was not wearing a collar or tag. She was given to current owner so not sure whether or not she is microchipped.

Photo now on site and alerts requested. Owner also asked to update Kizzy's page with the area she went missing from and whether she is tagged and chipped.

Sorry to see that KIZZY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (30654)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
