So glad that Lilly is back with her owner who clearly loves her very much, would have been tragic if he'd lost her. I'm sorry I couldn't help with the money situation but am so glad that mcbride did, what a wonderful person.x

so glad its been sorted and lilly will be home soon. yes you really are a star mcbride. its lovely when dog lovers pull together. i have a 14 yr old tiny jack russel and in the same predicament would be devastated. there are so many unloved dogs it is heartbreaking.

Hi, Have spoken with Pound, they do not take cards, and I am in work till 5pm and then would of had to of gone from Bristol to Newport, but we have sorted it, paid cash into his account, DOH not thinking of it earlier!!!. Bernard was waiting at Pound to pick Lily up last I heard, just waiting for confirmation. Hooray!! x

I cant help out as its my daughters wedding this sat...so me broke at mo. As for Newport unitary council!! Dont they know we are in a ruddy recession? Plz help Bernard he has been so pro active searching for Lilly, So close and yet so far.....is so frustrating.

Have just spoken to Bernard. Lilly is still in Coronation Kennels because cash is not being delivered until after they close today. If anyone local to him could help out it would mean they would be reunited today.

Is there anybody form Doglost who could lend Bernard the money just for today HE WILL HAVE THE CASH TOMORROW to pay it back, but the price goes upto morrow and the dog pound do not accept debit cards!!!!! It would enable him to get Lily today and also £10 as fee goes up tomorrow. I am delivering cash tonite, if anyone can help we would be really grateful, thank you

Owner is contacting Newport Councillors to try and pay in installments as he is currently unemployed. Other councils have been flexible so lets hope Newport can be understanding.

liily has been found she is a coronation dog pound in newport, they want £50 to release her by 4:30 today which has now gone it will now be £60 tommorrow which i cannot afford to pay and afraid im going to lose her, if anyone could kindly help me get her back pleasegive me a ring on 07979024216, i could pay you back
