Great news....
rachel
found out on Friday whilst in south of France that Poppy has been handed in by travellers.. off to get her now

Thank you all so much for your help
rachel
Another random sighting ....apparently 2 ladies were seen with a cockerpoo matching poppys description in Catsfield. They were staying in a caravan or campervan and called the dog Charlie. They seemed to not know a lot about the dog or its history. That is all we have to go on My daughter has been to most of the caravan parks around Catsfield but no sign will go again tommorow and leave posters.

Am sure the local pub wld let you put a notice up there and the station too. Glad you have not given up.
rachel
have heard that the train had to stop 3 days ago for a dog matching poppy near three oaks
rachel
still looking phoned vets again and found out that 1 of our local vets do not check for microchips
no sightings since 27/6 but as we live in area with lots of visitors she may be further afield
rachel
Thank you tried ringing them but no answer so have left message, been to look and it is close to other sightings and nearer home so still hope

Was hoping the sighting of small dog in the dark (30733 Dogs found) was Poppy .. worth ringing them in case. Still keeping fingers and toes crossed for you!
rachel
Had left poster all around country park but they have been taken down ,will get some more laminated and start again, Vets aware.will ask coastguards thanks.
Spindle

Assuming you hv postered and visited coastguard cottages..they hv great view!/the houses up by you/Pett village households etc. Also try the vets..Coopers/Cinqueports (Rye). Have you asked the coastguards/lifeboat crew to check the cliff with their binoculars..they may do this if they are on exercise? Try not to give up hope .. the springer spaniel lost last month was found 10 days later on the cliff! Last edited: 2011-06-29 09:25:32 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
rachel
Thank you for that but she thought it looked more grey and the animal wardens seem to have picked up a grey dog in that area so back to North seat and surrounding area was up there most of times kids at school with her dog friend and no sign of her she may be in fields around

it was all worth a try they did give me another number so no problem.Did go up this morning with her dog friend but nothing may try walking home from there with the other dog as this has been suggested as well, but trying to work out which place best to cross road
Thank you all

Oh .. sorry if you think I hv misled you .. Chowns hill had dogs there when I was there a few months ago!! If you think Poppy is near North Seat the best time to look is in the early morning or evening when there are not so many people around.. your calls can be heard and she is less likely to be frightened. Also does Poppy have any doggy friends that could go with you? Sometimes they can pick up on scents that we can't! Really hope you find her soon..don't give up!Last edited: 2011-06-28 12:35:37 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

where exactly did she go missing..in town, country park, beach?? Would help to know. Also try checking Blue Cross, Northiam / RSPCA cats home Bluebell Ridge,Chowns Hill (they take dogs too)/ Raystede at Ringmer /RSPCA Brighton and East Grinstead. Also check out the local vets and dog wardens..politely suggest you do this DAILY. Perhaps it would be an idea to contact the Hastings Observer? Hoping you find Poppy soon.
