Duke - Emaciated boy found tied to school gates - by: Liverpool Dog Rescue 1990

Poor Duke came to us yesterday via the dog warden after he was found tied to school gates in the early hours of Wednesday morning in the Mab Lane area of Liverpool. We believe he may be a Great Dane cross with possible Mastiff. We are appealing for anyone who may know the person responsible for this! Duke is the worst case of neglect that we have ever seen and we cannot begin to imagine the torture that this poor boy has been through, not just physically but also mentally. Despite this Duke is a very sweet boy who still manages to wag his tail. We will be taking him to the vet today and will have more information shortly.
