Great the gorgeous HUSKY is back home. Not long finished speaking to one very happy owner who is obviously over the moon. Family worked so hard and made him TOO HOT TO HANDLE, their efforts have paid off and got a result. Husky is settling back home and seems fine, family are taking care with his food.

WELL DONE and THANK YOU to everyone who helped in the search and spread the word. Owner said they will send us a REUNITED photo tomorrow, look forward to receiving it. Welcome home Husky lots and lots of hugs and cuddles. Jan x

Glad you are back where you belong. Make sure your Mum gets serious with training as Doglady has said, recall is not gonna be your strong point. Stay safe now.

So pleased you got your little boy back But please do not leave him in the garden unattended people do not realise it happens so quick and of course if not stolen they can get into all sorts of things being a pup. Also Please get some training with him being a Husky they are well know for running off you will need a good long line until you get him to respond to a re call which will be very hard with this breed of dog work hard on it and you will have him for a long time. Welcome home lovely boy.

Brilliant news....brought tears to my eyes reading what this little boy has been through. How can some people be so cruel and how many more dogs have actually been through the same ordeal? it is so heartbreaking to hear of happenings like this and OxfordHusky what an excellant job you did to get your baby back...I do hope he settles back into his loving home with you and your family quickly :) x

OxfordHusky
First I would like to tell you that I got my PUPPY BACK. he is home with me already for about an hour. I will tell for everyone the story which happened for these past couple days. Last night the police has arrested the man who held the puppy. Some anonymous witness came forward and said that they saw the puppy at the specific address. The police though haven't found the puppy there, however there was evidence in the house that the puppy was held there. The man dinied everything. The witness said that just yesterday they saw this man taking the puppy somewhere in a white pickup.,but the puppy wasn't brought back with him. Most likely he was moved to a different site as the puppy was making a lot of noise for these couple of days.He was crying all the time.He was held in the garden all the time tied up to the fence.Through the night and day. I think that after this arrest the puppy would never taken back to this address. They live in Rose Hill. However, these people must have removed him to some friends' house or someone they know. Also, even the puppy has been through enough stress and horror so far, it doesn't stop here. The witness claims that these travelers people are known for arranging DOG FIGHTS. A lot of them train the dogs to fight. I was scared out of my mind, what they would do to him now. By the way people who told me all of this saw the facebook information and a link to your website that I was sending to people around Oxford. The house that did this to my puppy, has a family living in there.A couple with 3 children. They are travellers, dodgy, and were described as gypsies. I contacted the police today in the morning and they said they have been to some more addresses. In the afternoon I have lost any hope for getting the puppy back. I thought that police scared those people and they will never bring him back to the address he was seen at. Tonight I got a call from the dog warden telling me that he has the puppy and will bring him to the house in a bit.I was so happy to get my baby back home. He was so happy, licking my face jumping at me,this was wonderful. The warden told that he got an anonymous call :"the puppy that is lost siberian husky is in barton".They put the phone down and the dog warden came straight away and picked him out in Barton. What it is that his gypsy family probably got scared and just dumped the dog. The police officer called just not long ago and said that the suspect arrested last night was questioned for a long time and checked out through all his family and all their addresses were checked out. They probably got too scared to get in trouble with the police because of the dog. I am so happy now that I did so much and tried so hard find my BABY. I got him back.He is worth much more than I did.Thank God it was enough. I wish good luck to everyone who is looking for their dogs.hope you find them.want to thank for the help everybody did.THANK YOU A LOT.

I don't think the DVLA are allowed to give you the details of the owner, but the police can access the details in a minute, so it is best you keep on at the police. However, I suspect the police already know the details but will not be able to tell you for a number of reasons. It doesn't mean they don't care, but it is probably for your own safety and that of your dog. I would keep asking them what they are doing and don't let it rest, but understand that they should know best about how to pursue this. You won't be able to do this alone - although I would feel just the same as you if it were my dog. You need the police's help. We also don't know if the person driving the car was the registered owner, do we? But everyone is looking for you as you can see below and what a great bunch of people you have out there trying to help you. So, you are not alone - you have DogLost on your side! Let's get this sweet baby home! x

I will share on facebook page, i hope he is home very soon. Good luck in finding him!! Lovely dog!!

Have just given the pictures with a story to the Oxford Mail. Will come out in two or three days. Any news from the police?Thank you to everyone for your help.
ML
Really hope that the police are able to help today. I'm sure you wont be as it sounds like the police in your area are very good with dog theft but don't be fobbed off by them. They will be able to see who the reg keeper of the vehicle is and even if he is not the RK, they will more than likely know who drives that vehicle. Praying today brings some news. Have you thought about putting an ad in the paper? Make as many people know as you can. Thinking of you. xxx
OxfordHusky
Please look anywhere possible anyone who can volunteer to help.I am really grateful for all the help possible. It has been already two and a half days.I really miss my baby.Help me bring hm home.
Contented Canines
Have only just seen this one. I trust that you have contacted your local TVP station and made a formal allegation? If this mans vehicle is registered to him then this will make it easier to arrest him. I do hope you get your little boy back and soon.

Have put puppy on my facebook. Owners, if someone buys your puppy, he will probably be looked after so don't worry about that too much, but he should be with you. Everyone will do what they can to get your baby back to you. Only recently a husky x was stolen and sold on, but the real owner got the dog back! Hang in there - we are all trying for you. Poster everywhere you can as you need to let everyone know this is YOUR puppy! Good luck. x

Thank you to everyone. I have just entered the number of people who have stolen my puppy on google and got hold of the details of the car of people who are selling my puppy,he is also selling his car, the one he was seen on when stealing my puppy.I have the number plate. the only thing that I need to find now is the name linked to this car. And I will know who stole my baby. Please everyone who can just keep an eye around in your area for this cutie.
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Thanks JO...please broadcast this where ever...vehicle driven by dog scum stealer is a Ford Fiesta...number plate...N19 8RU....
jo
glad I came back on to see if there was an update! I am searching as many sites in your area OxfordHusky! This man is not going to get far by what Jayne is saying and I am sure with plenty searching for your little boy he will soon be back home with you :) keep strong!
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
update...the people who were approached to buy the puppy did not have enough money on them so took the boys/mans telephone number...they passed it on to owner who rang him and he wanted 500 pounds for his return...owner could not raise this ammount ...and a deal was made...then he switched off his phone....but on ringing this morning he further upset the owner by saying the dog had been run over and he had taken it to the Blue Cross...this is not true...he has probably sold the dog on locally...anyone with contacts in this area please share,twitter...gumtree etc by pressing on the buttons. Police say they will contact in a few days...have reassured owner and we have great contacts with the Thames valley police....though not till Monday....This man has clearly stolen the dog...then tried to sell him...and demanded money...so we have extortion as well as theft...and witnesses...watch this space..
OxfordHusky
Dear jo,thank God that there are people like you here in the world. The only problem that he was stolen from the garden area. And when I searched for him last night I met people who recognised him and told that they were asked to buy my puppy just minutes ago. I got the number of people selling my dear friend, I tried to arrange to get my baby puppy home but they denied to accept having my Siberian Husky. I just want to know where the puppy is.,and whether he is safe and healthy and to try and find these guys. Please anyone who has seen this Husky( Siberian) in your area please just contact me and leave some information about him. I will reward you.I just want my family to be reunited.
jo
