- Am very glad Scrumpy is back home. At least she was looked after. Its a hard lesson to learn about putting dogs in back of trucks/no tag/no microchip but one that you can now say to others that they should take note. Welcome home Scrumpy, stay safe now.

- Thank you so much everyone with great delight and feeling I cant explain.... we have found Scrumpy safe and well. A well meaning couple picked her up from the side of the road and have looked after her. Seeing our posters they called up. Thank you so much doglost for your support - I needed it! Please everyone learn from us never put your dogs in the back of trucks, get them tagged and avoid what I have just been through. I will be donating and continue to take an interest in this fantastic site. Best, Lizzie

- Its such a large area to cover but she will be sighted soon. Laminated posters are the best and I found changing the photo sometimes helped renew peoples interest. Norfolk and Suffolk radio put a slot in for me also Look East. They are all worth contacting x
- 2011-07-12 20:41 Hooky
- Thank you I will pick it up tonight. I will make sure the posters stay visual the first ones were not laminated and need renewing. Thanks to purseys owner the new ones are really good. I hope Helen we will heat something. We have searched the roadsides up to a margin of about 20m and she isn't there she must be somewhere.
- 2011-07-12 19:01 roma
- Have left card that may be of interest. She did help me.
Please keep postering all the villages along the route. Go back and check they are still there and poster more. Its the only way people will know who she is. x

- I am sure she is safe somewhere. Sometimes people pick them up and like them so decide to keep them, they dont connect that they may be someones beloved pet. Big ride on sunday at shadwell so was hoping someone may see her. She is big news around here which is positive> I have a few numbers for you so will call round and drop them off. Take care

- More walking more searching tonight along the woods along the roads we had a lead from a shop keeper who over heard a man saying about a spaniel who was killing his chickens in fersfield which is not so far from garboldisham as the crow flies however tracked down the man who owned the chickens and he said that the dog looked like it had been on the run for a long time and did not match our photograph. Difficult to keep positive 8 days later. I hope she is sitting in someones front room having lots of love. Cant stop searching the woods and the roads if she is out there.

- Such a long time since i have visited this site and still so many dogs missing. When Roma and Lottie were stolen my life fell apart so know exactly how you are feeling. Dog lost was such a support to me and so helpful. Keep postering as people remove these often, for whatever reason.
Keep positive thoughts out to her as she can pick up on this, I talked to Lottie all the time! and she came home after 10 months, so please dont give up. - 2011-07-11 11:24 suffolksue

- Scrumpy is still out there somewhere. Further posters up, more road searching and advert in EDP today. One call from EDP advert saying possible lead of a person mentioning they had found a spaniel last Sunday in Gillingham near Beccles... chasing it up although it is a distance from where she was lost. Dont know what else to do!!!
- 2011-07-09 08:36 Susie
- Good Luck with the searching over the weekend! Hopefully with the extra weekend visitors to the area maybe she will be seen!

- Hi Scrumpys parents - we can print and laminate your posters in A2 Colour if you think that would help as i have an architectural practice - do you want me to do this, i could drop them somewhere for you to collect - and lots of wooden stakes if you want them - let me know either on here or 07747 040688 - Thanks, Chris.
- 2011-07-06 21:38 Hooky

- Hi Scrumpys' parents, i was so relieved to get Pursey back today. He had been picked up from the picnic area by a well-meaning person however they did not report him as they said they didnt know what to do and had thought about putting some posters up but that they had fell in love with him. How he was found was that someone had seen a flyer at the Esso garage in Watton and realised someone they knew had just found a dog. They rang up but mentioned the reward (so that really does help) and said they would try to get the keeper to contact me. I had the name of who was keeping him, made a few calls and went straight round there. I want this to be good news to you although hollow as you haven't got your Scrumpy back yet but i was really beginning to lose hope as he had been gone for 4 days. Get posters up on prime view on all roadsides in all neighbouring vilages and towns at least 10 miles radius. Putting them up at school gates will help too as i think people keep dogs because their kids fall in love with them - other parents may make the connection. I was so desperate i was about to call royal mail for a mailsweep of 15 miles around. Dont give up hope for Scrumpy; your instincts on what she would do. Very best of luck; i know exactly what you are going through and will continue to keep looking for her.
- 2011-07-06 08:58 Hooky
- Hi Pursey's owner I did see you had lost a lab and I am keeping an eye out for her too. Travelling along 1075 from Wretham to Hopton went through Thetford past Tescos and onto 1066 she was in the back of a truck with her other pal. We dont know wherer she jumped out/ fell out. It is so upsetting. I am back at work now but wearching every morning and every night and putting posters up still. I am in the process of getting a posty to send out flyers round the area. I hope you find Pursey soon good luck.
