Just received the brilliant news from her finder of (ID 30803) it was ROSIE and she is now back with her dad. Thank you to her finder for taking the time to care for her and putting her details on DL. Hope her owner gets her CHIPPED. Have great pleasure in moving her into the BLUE welcome home Rosie. Jan x

Thanks Filwil for following it up and updating us. When liaising with finder earlier today I sent the contact numbers for the Wigan DW and also your number and also rang your office to quicken things up and check if Rosie had been reported missing. I guessed it was you who had advised owner to register her with DL.

When speaking to finder the other day also suggested contacting the Out of Hours AW.

Finder has been doing a fantastic job looking after her which is greatly appreciated. Look foward to an update when Rosie's owner has visited. Jan x

The dog 'Rosie' was reported missing to ourselves yesterday morning and I told the owner to place it on Doglost. This found dog was actually found in Beacon Country Park, which is in West Lancs, not Billinge. I have contacted the finder who confirms that 'Rosie's' owner is calling tonight between 5pm and 6pm. Could DogLost ask finders to contact the Councils for the area where the dog is found? Otherwise, hopefully another excellent result thanks to the finder and DogLost. Really appreciated.

I've also spoken to West Lancs DW section to see if Rosie has been reported missing, DW is out at the moment but he will check. Jan x

Tried to contact Rosie's owner, no answer, maybe in work, I am also in work myself. Rosie's owner has not been to see the found BC or contacted finder since yesterday. Jan x

Thanks everyone for checking Rosie against the found. I've been to a funeral today and only just logged on. Sorry tri's mum could not take your calls this afternoon.

Finder did text me tonight at 19.20pm to say a possible owner had rang and was supposed to calling over an hour ago, finder has not had any replied to his texts since 4.00pm. I've been liaising with finder since then and we are texting each other at the moment.

I compared the pics to the found and noticed the two pics on here are different dogs. Finder has explained Rosie's owner said he only has a puppy photo and has used SIMILAR photo/s. The photo/s used are very similar to the found.

Will update a.s.a.p. Fingers crossed it is Rosie. Jan x

I'm in the Ormskirk area so if the found border collie isn't Rosie i will poster. Whereabouts in Ormskirk did Rosie go missing from?

Well spotted tri's mum. I so hope the found dog is Rosie. You see this is where my geography lets me down. Thought they were in opposite directions - really hopeless :)

I have been incontact with Rosie's owner.regarding the dog found 30803,he thinks it is his dog,finder sending him a pic...All Paws Crossed !!!! xx
