RE-UNITED !!!!!!!!!! We are delighted to have Buster home with us. Most importantly he is safe and well and the adventure does not appear to have caused him any harm . I just want to say a huge thank you to every single person who shared posts in relation to Buster and for all your kind wishes and words of support. This week has got to be literally one of the worst weeks of my life. My heart goes out to all of you who are still yet to be re-united with your best friend xxxxxxxx

The sightings in Chadwell are believed to be a local dog that is often running freely in that particular area and is well known by local residents. My boyfriend went out searching that area last night and spoke with lots of dog walkers and kids playing football in that area and they all said the same thing. Fingers crossed we get more news x

Excellent news about this other sighting Lorraine, as you saying definitely sounds like this dog is lost/out on own, whether its Buster - seems very possible - or not. Hopefully someone has taken him in and will soon see your posters, or you'll get some more recent sightings and be able to be on his trail! You're doing great, and I am sure it won't be long now. x

I have just received more information concerning Buster....another sighting in Chadwell. Late Tuesday evening teenage boys were playing football in Aluric when a friendly blue staffie matching Busters description was running around them after the ball he was also following people which would indicate to me that this dog is lost (even if it's not Buster)
lesleyjane
You are doing really well, Lorraine, hope he's back with you soon.x

An appeal has been printed on page 5 of this weeks Thurrock Enquirer. Lets hope that this generates some calls of further sightings

Have just been all around the last sighting & Orsett Heath, but no luck. Have alerted everyone I saw. Will try again shortly.

I'm not sure if there are any volunteers/helpers that reside within the Chadwell St Mary area of Essex but if there are can you kindly keep a look out for Buster in the area. There is a good possibility he was seen yesterday by the cemetery in Brentwwod Road. We will be out searching the area today. Many thanks x
AlisonH
Lorraine if it was Buster scenting would help to keep him in the area. Go ahead and do it you've got nothing to lose.
Lorraine Walton
Can anyone advise that if this possible sighting is Buster and we can confirm the exact location of where he was last seen would the scenting of this particular area be beneficial or not?
Or should I use the plotting method with the map?

We have received news that a stray blue staffordshire bull terrier was seen running around the Chadwell area earlier today (06/07/2011). I am trying to obtain further information to confirm if it is our beloved boy xx

What a beautiful boy Buster is. I pray he comes home soon

My boyfriend and I would like to express our thanks to all of you for the kind wishes and help that you have kindly given. It would appear that almost everyone within our local community is aware of Busters disappearance so we really do hope that he is found safe and well very soon. Let's keep our fingers crossed for good news.

lesleyjane
So hope all your hard work is rewarded soon, sorry I am not nearer to help.

Both my partner and I have also circulated Busters lost poster on Facebook.

Hi Jo, The sightings were within yards of where we live (Busters home) and seem to be around the time that I feel he went missing. We have widened the search area and my partner is out as we speak postering the Corringham, Stanford, Linford and Tilbury areas. The worry I have is that we are surrounded by lots of open spaces and farmland which are very remote and if Buster is in these types of areas sightings are less likely. I really do appreciate all your help x

Have put Buster on twitter + will circulate.

scenting guide emailed to owners - hope it helps

Hi Lorraine, great news about the sightings - how far are they from home? I am sure you have/will be anyway but cover that area with posters too. I am at work with no access to email but I will ask one of the other co-ords to send you some scenting guidelines, it may help given the recent sightings.
Lorraine Walton
We have received news from a neighbour that Buster was sighted by him between 13:30-14:00HRS yesterday afternoon in Colne, East Tilbury. We then received further information from another neighbour that he saw a dog running loose (matching Busters description) in the playground area situated outside Colne Court in East Tilbury at approximately 14:30HRS. We have received no positive sightings since. Last edited: 2011-07-05 23:10:58 by Lorraine Walton
