- hi poochpal, yes there are lots of places to hide out. This dog dissapeared into long grasses on the actuall football pitch. Its a huge feild but not too big its a kind of purpose built feild and doesnt join on to any where else,it has a dozen or so planted areas with bushes and trees all well grown at moment it has schoools, nurseries a club house along edge of one side, and a perfect place to scent, im so annoyed that i didnt do that.I ll pick up on it when im back home...gail xxx

- Please be very careful Gail. I think you are right to have second thoughts about this on, we have known dogs to have their hair died to try to disguise them. After this lenghth of time Tay would act cautiously, it would be worth going back to scenting the area where you saw this one. If seen again drop to your knees and speak quietly. Did he have any favourit toys, squeeky ball maybe that you could toss to the side to see if he reacts? Are there any areas under bushes or hedges on this field where he could be living rough?

- Thanks poochpal for texting Mark. I am Tays mum and sighted this dog.Im sniffing around that area for a reason.I have a sight problem periodically and although when i first saw him i could see he was Tri coloured but when we were at our closest to him and face on i said to Charlie its Tay, Called Tay gently but he backed off.I know its bizzar and Mark discourages it but it crossed my mind that this dogs fur looked artifical somehow it was the deep black patches that made me think this.was this the reason i couldnt identify this dogs breed or was it my eye condition that day,I dont know but although i hate going on that feild as its surrounded by 3 rough council estates ive been down there this morning and all yesterday afternoon.xxxAlision I will check out those dog now thanks.xxx
