I am so glad Archie was found. Holloway Road is a very busy, dangerous road for any frightened dog. I was up there today and kept and eye out for him. Make sure the micro chip is now in your name.

Comments posted by his mum on Facebook:

Hi everyone. Your support helped me go through the day. I spent my whole day touring the streets when finally the call came at 4pm. Archie was found on Holloway road and handed in to the RSPCA last night/early morning. He spent a very stressful night in the kennel and was he pleased to see me. !!!! Just took him to the same park from where he bolted and he didn't seem too traumatised which is good as I use the park a lot. But he couldn't get enough of smelling the grass. He kept his head to the ground smelling and licking the grass. He was like the prisoner who finds his freedom suddenly and realises what he was missing inside. The papilla were so pleased to see him and he them especially little Belle. So all is well and thank you again for your help and support. This was the longest night of my life. I will be very mindful of Archie's fears. At the moment he is sitting on my leg while I type this making sure I am here. LOL just a thought for all the other dogs yelling in the kennels wanting to get out. I could hear them and i couldn't help cry knowing they might not be as lucky as Archie. How frightened they might be. It was awful. Let me pray for all of them wishing they find a home soon.

I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to you too for getting him up as quickly as you did xx
