- Holly is home! Found wandering along one of the country lanes, very dirty (looks like she's been in a coal mine Lol) and very hungry, but all in one piece.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and support. Am arranging chipping of this little girl and my friend is repairing the fence today so this can't happen again. XX - 2011-07-14 10:47 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- Posted on behalf of my neighbour:
Holly has been missing since 11.15pm after squeezing through a broken fence which gave her direct access to the back fields and the road out front.
She is being treated for canker, and twice has caught her foot in her collar when scratching so her collar had been removed for safety. She is not 'area savvy' having never been allowed out of the garden, and has never strayed before so will be completely unaware of her surroundings.
She is a fit and active girl for her age, in good health apart from the ear problem. She is friendly, gives paw and is likely to allow herself to be picked up.
2 hours of searching the immediate streets, fields, waste grounds and country lanes - no sign. Basic "have you found" slips being put through local houses tonight, further afield in the morning.
Police informed. Pound will be contacted in the morning along with all local rescues.
Posters will be printed and put up also.
Owner is obviously very worried as this is not like Holly and fears someone may have picked her up. We are hopeful that a kind soul may be keeping her safe overnight and will report her in the morning.
