Pixie was buried on my brothers farm. She is now at peace ,a local artist has painted her portrait from a photo. Everyone has been so kind. We have planted a rose bush in her memory. Farewell my darling darling Pixie,Always in my memory...x

God bless and keep you Pixie. No danger where you are now sweetie. xx
Cannot believe the amount of dogs that go missing when being "cared for" by dog walkers/minders.
markie

thanks guys for all your support. I have been in touch with the wales Dog Trust coordinator as and am speaking to their legal dept. I am dog helper on this site now and when i know more I will send out further info as apparantly there have been other complaints re this minder but for legal reasons I cannot name him until the legal dept have advised what happens next. I do not think he makes a habit of boarding dogs, mainly does group training with owners present so at least no immediate danger of him losing some one elses dog. I texted him tonight and no response as yet.I think he is distancing himself as worried about the fall out and so he should be!

I don't know if Louise would be willing to divulge the name of this dog walker so that I can warn other people against using him/her ? This is negligence.

What could be better for the memory of Pixie than for Louise to make others aware of DOGLOST. That's great; he life wasn't in vain. Well done Louise x

Sad news. Pixie is dead. In response to the appeal I put in the post, a lady came forward to advise me that she had seen a dog run over early hours of last Saturday morning. I visited the sight , near the Birchgrove roundabout on the dual carriageway. And It was her! I am devasted ,but at least I now have closure and know she is not suffering. Thankyou everyone on this site for all your support. I am registered on this site now to be here to help others in the future like you have with me....thankyou all
SUSIE
Hi Ive just gone down around Fforestfach, Cadle Mill, Julians Garngoch common, and around Cadle area just in case but no luck. Will try more local area of Birchgrove tomorrow. Dont give up hope!
Louise
Thankyou Bel. I have spoken to lady from dog trust who happended to be in marks and sparks and saw dog but says it was a terrier and did not look lost so I think the lead was a false sighting. The dog minder who runs a training buisness called welsh dog whisperer is known to them as they have had previous complaints and this is not the 1st dog he has lost. he was not experienced enough to care for a little nervous dog like Pixie. Will continue to look and hope that someone will respond to the post advert....

Putting out more posters to night downloaded from this site. I also have persuaded the local evening post to run a story tomorrow as my daughter was a child of courgae evening post award recipient a few months back ( she has a rare condition called moyamoya which causes stroke )so they will help to advertise she is missing. As my daughter is devasted.
