- Other Info We came to Belhus Woods Park from Southend for a short trip at around 4pm. We let Kinney off the leash with our other black husky cross Volk. As usual, at first they were running around within our line of sight, but then they'd disappeared. We've been looking for them all over the park for about 3hrs, and let some locals know and left our numbers. Volk and Kinney are very much missed family members, and we are looking forward to them coming back home. Reward offered for their safe return. We have

- YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done! Perhaps long leads are in order in case they decide to explore once more! Or maybe that sledge pulling thingy - they'd love that! Exercise and safety is what you need. So hard being a Husky owner I think. :-) Excellent news! x

- Hope Kinney and Volk (great names!) are home very soon. Make sure, as well as all below you call Gemini Kennels 01268 723825 who are the pound for Thurrock....also worth phoning Acres Way 01268 770402 who are the pound for Basildon and CP (as well as Southend). In addition to the other advice, it may also be beneficial to leave an old towel/article of clothing in the area they first ran from - just incase they are trying to find their way back to a similar area they will be able to pick up on the scent. Keep us posted, lets us know of any sightings as there are further things we can advise that may help you in your search. Good luck.

- Huskies are renowned for running, and can go a long way, so you may need to poster quite far out. The best thing to do is POSTER heavily right now all around the area they were lost and outwards a few miles. You may need to redo in the rain. Leave something of yours in the area they were lost in to bring them back and keep there there. Call the vets, dog wardens and everywhere mentioned below. Good luck and keep us posted. Have e-mailed owners for support. x
