Hello

I would like to thank every at Doglost, in particulr Sue as se has been fantastic in supporting me and giving me advice on how to find Peggy. I was hysterical in the middle of the farm when I saw her and my car is still abandoned there now!! I can't describe how relieved we both are; our dogs mean the world to us. xx
B30
She turned up at the house herself. A good possibility she's been stuck and as she's lost weight managed to wriggle free. Verity says she seems fine and bouncing about LOL!! If she only knew what the last five days have been like for her Mom and Dad!!

DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
yes...tell us how...
coralvb
Delighted. Hope the puppies have kept well. They will be pleased to see their mum!x

B30
Thanks dewilliams, Verity is contacting someone about possibly getting some help with searching the area in case Peggy has got stuck underground.
dewilliams42
IS PEGGY THE TYPE THAT WOULD BE INTERESTED IN RABBIT HOLES ETC. THOUGH PROBABLY YOU HAVE ALREADY THOUGHT OF THAT. JUST WONDERED AS YOU ARE NEAR FARMLAND.
B30
Shropshire Star have been out again and hopefully will be running another article about Peggy.

ITV are also coming to film this afternoon and that is due to be on tonights news.

Good Luck Verity
B30
Shropshire Star have done the article but unfortunately have not printed Peggy's photo, only the puppies. Verity is going to speak to them and see if they can put Peggy piccy in.
DogLostRiverlady
@ShropshireLive have posted link to this page to their facebook group of over 15,000.
Sam
I have just seen the lovely pictures of the puppies on page 5 of the Shropshire Star. Heartbreaking, hope the story helps and that they are reunited with mum soon xx
Melr73
I will post on my facebook wall for you as I'm unable to print any posters at the moment. I hope that Peggy gets home to her pups very soon. Thinking of you.
coralvb
Did she another lost soul though. Will put them on the 'found' page but if anyone reading this knows of a dog missing in the Donnington area. |V thin lurcher type, black and getting on a bit. Dark collar. (sighted only - couldn't catch unfortunately)
coralvb
Been up on the golf course side of the park tonight but no luck I'm afraid. It's a bit secluded up there at night to venture too far of the roadway. Will try and get down during the day if still not back.
B30
Thanks Riverlady. That's a lot of followers!!
DogLostRiverlady
@ShropshireLive have retweeted Peggy and they have 2,280 followers. Also tweeted to @Shropstar plus lots of locals are retweeting.

Well done Verity. Don't forget to email me so that it adds my email to your address book then you should be able to receive emails from me ok and I'll send it again.
Verity
After emailing the Shropshire Star last night they have been out in my lunchtime and taken pictures of me and the puppies and an article about Peggy's disappearance and out hunt to find her should be in the paper tomorrow.
Unknown
Hope she is found soon. Liz xx
Verity
Morning; that would be good thank you Sam, I tried to email the Shropshire star last night but for some reason it returned the message as unsent, I was going to try again today. Fingers crossed we find her today, I have just syringe fed her puppies, touch wood they all seem okay at the minute.
Sam
Have posted to my facebook page, lots of my friends walk their dogs in that area. Also I work at the Shropshire Star so could put you in touch with a reporter if you would like? Really hope you find her, can't imagine how you feel. Those poor little pups x
Verity
Thank you; I hope so much that she is safely home, we are lost without her, if she isn't safely found though we would really appreciate you continuing to look. Verity
coralvb
Mine are only little, will try it tomorrow if she is not already safely home. Will take food! Have also posted on missing dogs/cats uk page and my own page on Facebook.
Verity
I'm not sure, she is really good with most dogs but she keeps her distance if they are imposing. We have two other dogs and there are other dogs on the farm we live on so she is very used to other dogs. Thanks again.
DogLostRiverlady
Have put Peggy on twitter + will circulate.
coralvb
Shropshire star are pretty good also. What is she like with other dogs. If I went walking up there with my dogs is she likely to be drawn to them or would they make her keep her distance?Last edited: 2011-07-18 22:15:34 by coralvb

Verity
Thank you; yes I rang Hillbrae this morning, they took some details and my mobile number but good idea, I will send them a poster now.
coralvb
Has Hilbrae been notified. They always scan any dogs brought in but it wouldnt hurt to send them a poster anyway.

Hi i live in Telford and my mum walks the graville most days.I have let her know and am sharing on facebook. I also work in a vets in Telford so will make sure they get a poster up. Best of luck she is found quickly.
Verity
Thank you everyone, I really appreciate all your support. Apparently Peggy was on radio Shropshire which was wonderful. We actually live very near to Hancocks Farm and we know them so have spoken to them about finding Peggy. We have searched all their fields but found nothing. I would say that whilst she was last seen about half way between the crem and the golf course, the least searched side would be the golf course and the Granville? Thanks again, we are paraying that we find her, we love her so much! Verity
B30
Peggy went missing midway between the golf club and the crematorium. Chip company have been notified and details sent out to vets, police etc. Advised owner to poster widely and notify all vets in the area. Land fill site and local kennels also notified. Will ask for details to be put on Twitter asap and also get her advertised in The Countryman's Weekly magazine. Info sheet also sent.

Peggy has also been mentioned on the radio today (thanks coralvb!).Last edited: 2011-07-18 17:49:08 by B30

Thanks guys. I'll try to get in touch with the owner tonight and hopefully find out more details about where Peggy went missing from and what they have already done.
coralvb
I have emailed posters to Telford Equestrian and Shropshire Golf club to ask if they will display in a public area. I have also asked Severn radio to mention it (though don't know if they will). Am willing to go up and have a look round after 5 but it would help to have more specifics as to the area. It does cover quite a large amount of ground and although she may have travelled anywhere in that area, a starting point would be useful. ie nearer to the golf club than the crem?
tessbear
Hi, two big equestrian places near there lots of people coming and going and hacking out - Hancocks 01952 612822 and Telford equestrian 01952 619825. May be worth a phone call or a visit to put up a poster. Good luck, thinking of you.
dewilliams42
HOPE YOU FIND HER VERY SOON. PUPPIES MUST BE MISSING HER TOO. X
