- I think that I spoke with your partner about 15 mins after we listed this found dog last week - the found dog has a white patch on its chest which did not match your Alfie, I asked further about this dog - he is a local dog having been chipped by this kennels around 6 months ago - hopefully this will put your mind at rest that it was not Alfy.

- It's so very hard when a dog who looks just like your own dog who's lost appears in a found list. Alfy went missing on 14/07/11 from London and it's not unheard of that dogs can travel long distances or get picked up by people who take them that far and then they escape. I phoned these kennels but was told this dog has been rehomed and that there's nothing they can do. Spoke with a woman there who was very short with me saying I should be out looking for my dog.
