I am over the moon! My mobile was going mad with owner Jane and Owl texting me, I got my texts in a muddle - thank you, both. Jane says Lily is getting a tracking device now - what a good idea. Hopefully they won't need it, and Lily will think twice about holes in the future. :-) x

I know this area fairly well as I used to live not far away. There are no trains in area, all railways closed many years ago. Unfortunately I now live quite a long way away and am involved in transport runs from pounds over the weekend. If no sign of Lily by the end of the weekend I will try to come down on Monday with Wispa as I have friends in the area so hopefully have somewhere to stay. Checked the local weather forecast and it's looking unusually dry for West Wales so there should be a trail left.

Just heard more from owner - Fell & Moorland are happy to help but there are hundreds of acres of land to search and they don't know where to look. Suggested putting them up, feeding & keeping them for the weekend, you never know? If anyone can help search the area it would be appreciated. Owners son has managed to view this website at a library and is very impressed and they want to thank everyone for their kind support - they need it. Thank you from Lily's owners. x

Thanks Owl. Spoken to owner and she definitely thinks that Lily has got herself stuck somewhere.
Three dogs went off and only 2 came back.
Lily knows the area well and would definitely come back home if she was able to.
Owner has my phone number now to contact me if there's any news.
Fingers crossed we can get Lily back home.

I have texted a contact in the area who runs a rescue and asked if she would kindly call owner. Fell & Moorland do not have people in all areas, and I don't think there is one near Cilcennin. They mainly help if the dog has gone to ground. Do we think this is the case?

Owners text'd me to say they have put up posters and is disappointed that the Moorland Fell & Terrier Club has not got back to them so will try and contact again. Are there any helpers out there - please can you give this owner a call for support - owner is Jane and is out of her mind with worry! Thank you. x
