Sadly, this wasn't Nipper. Advised owners to double check in case he's around, but they spoke to neighbours too and don't feel it was him in the house. Advised to re=poster where lost to jog people's memories. Maybe keep a look out for the van sighting though, Bomber. So sorry, but you may still get him home yet, keep going. He's somewhere. x

Bumped due to sightings.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Bomber, this is very, very possible. Go carefully as you don't want to make them pass him on to someone else to hide him. Sounds like you are doing the right thing, watch and wait and be patient. No false moves - make sure first. If you need help or are stuck or worried, please phone DogLost who can give you advice. You CAN get him home and you CAN do this - really! You may want to have the police on speed dial on your mobile and you may need to stay hidden so you don't spook them. This is fantastic lead, don't blow it. We are here for you. Please let us know asap and don't forget to ask for help if needed. Good luck. x edited due to post below x

One more thing - if Nipper is in the papers - let us know asap! x
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Bomber, get some posters up all round the gypsy site just with Nipper's photo and reward for safe return on it and your mobile number. You may get some crank calls and gypsies may lie about having your dog to get the money, so make sure you do a trade at the same time - no dog no money. Money talks, so worth trying. But beware, they have a habit of upsetting owners when they call, so don't worry about it - its just what they do first. If they have Nipper, you may well get him back. You might need your boyfriend to take the call for you. If no luck, keep postering - someone must know where Nipper is. If you need help call DogLost number. I am always thinking of you and hoping Nipper is back with you soon. x
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
You need to speaa to the dog warden asap and get them to go in there with you, or the gyspy liaison officer from the council - or the police and quickly. Put posters up stating there is a reward for Nipper's safe return, this will encourage them to return him. Keep going. xLast edited: 2011-08-01 12:59:36 by Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders

Thanks Kimmybear for helping owner and giving really good advice, I did email info/advice and scenting instructions late on 19.7.11 maybe they have gone into their 'Junk' folder!! I am in work and won't be able to contact owner until this evening. The sightings sound very promising. Jan x
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
We have an e-mail on site! Am sending scenting info to that address, now.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Owners have been texting me as they are trying to log in to DogLost and put their e-mail on system but are unable to. Would like us to to send more info but can't till we get an e-mail addy. Owner's heartbroken - she's had him 13 years. Owner, please keep postering very heavily in the Shaw area now too. You have had sightings and sounds like it is Nipper, so you just need to really work at this non-stop with the postering - it REALLY does work. Look what sightings you have so far, does it add up to a triangle on a map? Or nearly one? This is Nipper's course - he will work this triangle until you get him. Dogs are very clever and their wild instincts kick in to help them survive, so don't panic, okay. Poster everything you can find. You are doing so well. We have ways to catch Nipper, so hang in there and keep us updated in any way you can. Let's get this little baby back home quickly. Keep safe sweetheart. x

In contact by text to owners, as I can see site is busy today so helping out in this area. Advised owners that Nipper has his own page and they can recive help and advice from coming here. Owner, are you here yet? Do everything as stated below - VERY important. You need to print off the poster as soon as we have it on our system - this can be printed from here, Nipper's, page when done. Print/copy as many as possible. I would start at the point you lost him and then go straight to the sightings you have had today - it sounds like it's him as you have had two sightings! Leave something of yours in the area he was lost in so he can smell you and possibly stay there. Let us know on here how you get on, or call us if you need help. I can only receive texts on my mobile that I have been texting you on but you will probably get a call from another Co_ordinator as soon as possible. Any worries, call the DogLost number on this site. Good luck and go get Nipper home! Come on Nipper baby, your mummy's waiting. x POSTER EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE!
