- Oh keep safe sweetie! Maybe she'll be home by morning - or tonight! Owners need to leave a gate open if access required etc. Come on Gem, all the way home baby. x

- That's her instincts kicking in then - hopefully with the scenting Scott can persuade her to find home pretty quickly

- Looking at a map she was possibly heading homewards when she left us. I do so hope she works out where she is and finds somewhere safe :(

- It was me who saw Gem earlier. She is quite distinctive looking, like a slender german shepherd. She is very very fast and scared and has no road sense. I've spoken to her owner and she apparently likes other dogs and squeaky toys so they might be good things to have with if searching for her. We saw her on Tharp Road at about 8 o'clock this evening, she turned into Demesne Road but disappeared into thin air so I don't know where she went after that. I've suggested her owners might try Beddington Park in case she is attracted to the other dogs and somewhere quiet to hide but she has travelled about 4 miles to get here from her home and I have a feeling she was just going to keep running :(

- Gem has been seen by a friend of mine just now in Wallington. She is now talking to Scott and they are heading to that location. Please look out in the THARP ROAD area - she is scared and has no road sense
