Nobody claimed this little dog and i have now decided to keep her with the permission of my local dog warden. She's settled in well and gets on with my children and our other dog. So a happy ending for Izzy anyway.

Hi..i've been trying to get thru to local dog warden with no success..they are available tomorrow and they have an emergency number too will hopefully get in contact with them by the morning.Good luck with finding your dog.

I'm the person who phoned you about 30mins ago to see if the dog you'd found was ours(even though we're a few counties away).
It may be a good idea to get hold of your local dog warden today before 5pm as they go off duty over the weekend,to see if the terrier is microchipped. If the owners are out there looking for her,they could be going through agony (as we are),particularly if it's left till after the weekend.If you've already done so since i phoned you,sorry...don't mean to be bossy.
