Oh dear! They do get frightened. i feel guilty as the finder said she did not want to let the dogin the house as he was wet and very muddy-so i suggested she take a cardboard box and newspapers out so it could have some shelter for the night-which he loved but bit her for the privilage!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

oh dear, talk about bite the hand that feeds or in this case helps! poor doggie, was scared stiff away from his owner and I am sure the finder will understand (after his wound has healed!!) I once stopped in my car late at night near to my home, as in my headlights I saw a little bundle of fluff, on further investigation I saw this was a black cat, everything pointed to this cat being a rta and a deceased one, although only a slight blood from mouth could be seen. I couldn't bear to leave him so I carried him to my car to take him home and see if I could find out who had lost a cat and if not bury the poor fella, once in my car I sat with him on my lap and my friend put the light on to get a better look, suddenly the cat jumped into action and went berserk! I nearly had a heart attack (and my friend) the cat did a complete circle of the car (inside!) he too was in great shock, eventually I caught him, well, he caught me as it happens, he decided to bite onto my little finger and not let go, I nearly had to finished him off to make him let go!! seriously though, all ended well, cat taken to vet, minor injury, shock, owner found. Me taken to hospital deep bite wound, but still laughing when thinking abut the incident and the look on my friends face when the cat so dead sprung into action!! all these years later it still makes a good story (hello, have you nodded off? ) Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
