- Our 2 dogs have been missing nearly 3 weeks so presume stolen. How did these owners go about getting publicity on a national level?

- Just have to ask, are the microchips up to date, as there are a couple of dogs, one Choc. lab and a Boxer, found in different parts of the country, both with chips that are out of date........Is it possible the owners have moved before the dogs went missing and they forgot to update them?Last edited: 2011-09-21 15:28:02

- Owners have been extremely proactive. We can now rule out the shafts on and around Carn Marth as they have been thoroughly investigated - no dogs down there at all. There have been no sightings reported since a possible one of two dogs, one a boxer, one unidentified, heading along the road at the bottom of Shoot Hill, in the direction of Carharrack, on the day after Dolly and Oliver went missing from Carn Marth. The owner is waiting to talk to the person who saw the dogs. Since then there has been nothing, and they are now believed stolen. Owners have succeeded in obtaining a crime number, and are extending the publicity on a national level. They are doing so much, I do hope they get the breakthrough they so deserve.

- Is there no word at all about Dolly and Oliver?

- Really hope Dolly and Oliver are found safe and well very soon. Come on babies show yourselves. Love and hugs xx

- We can now rule out the possible sighting of Dolly in Carharrack. This was a male local Boxer who regularly roams.

- At this time it looks highly unlikely that Dolly and Oliver have gone down a shaft.

- Dolly and Oliver disappeared together on Tuesday at around 9.a.m. There was a possible sighting of Dolly around midday in Carharrack, on Penance Rd, walking up a footpath past a house with building works.

- Owners have no computer or mobile phone, so I will be the point of contact if owners can't be reached on their landline. My mobile is 07828 261355.
Dolly is a gentle, friendly, but rather nervous dog, who may not hold her own if she is away from home too long. Last edited: 2011-07-28 12:24:36 by ZZ - Area Volunteer, Cornwall - 2011-07-28 11:01
- Sorry to see that DOLLY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (31397)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
