Dinky and Fred are home ! - they have been underground since they went missing and somehow managed to survive despite the incredibly dry conditions, they must have managed to get themselves out last night and were found by a lady walking her dogs early this morning at pretty much the same spot i last saw them. She took them to a vet who phoned us. Both very thin and weak, but remarkably OK considering , my thanks and gratitude to all at DogLost for the help and support given.

Many Thanks to Danria and Maya for thier efforts, We still continue to search on the hills, but as have found no evidence of them there, are now considering that someone may have taken them , they are extremely cute looking dogs, I am posting their details on rescue centers further afield, as people come from distances to visit the Malverns. Adverts have been sent to the local papers and Hereford and Worcester radio agreed to send out an appeal - saw scruffy terrier reported found on the K9 search web-site - I have reported them there and sending photos
Devi
Very small scruffy terrier in Birmingham dogs home, similar to dinky.

Maya did pick up a faint scent, down to the bottom of the hill, not far from the car park, she had a scout round, but was only interested in one small area. Normally she would go over quite a bit of ground, but she stayed in a very small spot. Wish we could do more, but Maya was determined to stay round the point where these two went missing.

I have just had a call from helper Danria who took her excellent dog Maya to find a trail. There is a scent only around the car park, so it looks as if these 2 have been picked up rather than gone to ground.

Thanks for posting on here Fiona, good luck with the device ,keep us all updated please x
Fiona
we picked up the listening device and tried it down various holes on Saturday evening , unfortunately no luck yet, but continuing to day
Mollychops
Thanks Jayne, Owl is getting a listening device to the owners when she is on her way back. Tomorrow. As owners are pretty sure they know these two monkeys could be a listening device hopefull will do the trick

The two were on a walk that they know very well, near some badgers sets on a steep sided quarry. They have completely vanished.Owners have been back to the area dday and night, and nothing has been seen or heard of them. They also contacted the fell and moorland society , but sadly no one in area. Owners have contacted Dws vets and rescue centres to make them aware and have started podtering,I will email out advice sheetsLast edited: 2011-07-29 17:03:57 by Mollychops
