- Hi, this dog is now with me - i tried phoning the number above but it's now not in use. I have been to a house in Velindre that has Westies but no one was in so i left a note with my phone number and will pop over again in the morning. If anyone hears of a lost Westie plesae post here - i live near the school in Velindre, the dog was on the river bank sleeping - soaking wet and starving. I am not able to keep the dog and am in touch with the dog Warden for the area. thanks

- It's a very long shot, but I've just posted a Westie as being found in Drefach Felindre. He or she was too timid to even let me get close enough to discern sex unfortunately, but it was loose on the main road in front of the church and trotted into the river and went upstream before clambering out on the bank just past the school and I lost sight of the dog after this.

- Dog wardens, vets and pounds have been notified and extensive postering done. I suggested putting out a call on both Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire radio stations as the dog went missing on the border between counties, also newspaper adverts.
