Really happy to hear this, but confused, was it just by luck that owners found her living near their new home? If so, very lucky and well done to "new' owners for returning her to them. xx

Oh wow what a fantastic result after all this time. I hope this renews the faith for any owners still waiting to find their fur babies. Well done all involved in making this a success story. xx

I am very pleased to say that after 12 long months, Sandy has been found safe and well........fantastic news!!!!! The family moved house a couple of months ago and Sandy was found living close by. Her family are ecstatic. Sandy has not been reunited with her family yet as they are going on holiday this weekend and they thought it best to wait until they return, for Sandy's sake.

The family have asked me to reunite Sandy as thankfully the search is over. Thank you to the family who have kept her safe. I take great pleasure in moving Sandy into the blue and I will update as soon as she is home for good xx

The owner has information that Sandy may be on the St Annes Estate, Denton. If anyone is in the area, please look out for her. Sandy is an elderly girl and needs to be back with her family.

iam not the owner of this dog but ive just checked 33024 n think the colour of that dog is very much darker than sandy..but i could be mistaken ie diffrent natural light ect. i really think the dog on the cheshire dogs home is more a like than sandy. just hope sandys owner has also looked as its been a while and may of been rehomed :(

Please take a look at the found dog id 33024. they look very much alike. x

Just been on animal wardens site and a medium sized brown/tan female was found today in M34. Does say white markings, but might be worth a look. Ref no is 242774. Best of luck finding Sandy.

Have just spoken to Sandy's owner. She told me that she has already put the photo on Sandys profile and can see it on there but mine is still showing as 'awaiting photo' - very strange, wasn't sure if the page has been duplicated but can't see it.

They have been visiting Manchester Dogs Home every other day but no luck so far.

This is Sandys entry on the AW site
