He isnt 100% happy but has agreed to let the people pay for her (out of principal) he wasn't going to let them keep her without,he wanted to make sure they were serious about keeping and looking after her properly,he is satisfied that she is well and happy and healthy,at the end of the day it's his decision and he has been to hell and back these last 6 or 7 weeks and wants to put it all to bed so to speak.

sue looking at your last comment the owner doesn't seem completely happy about it but feels he has no choice. This is so sad. Is there nothing the police can do? Had he spoke to anyone who can tell him that for definite? Yes he knows she is safe but she is still his dog with or without microchip :(
Unknown
As long as the owner is ok with the arrangement and the dog is loved and well cared for, that is all that matters. The owner obviously thinks it is better for the dog, for whatever reason.
sue
He has had time to think about it and the main thing is that she is healthy, happy, being well cared for and loved,She has been seen and is all of those,The RSPCA and the Police won't do anything so without the owner getting himself into trouble this is the next best option for Flow.x
Puddies
Glad you guys at least know where she is as the not knowing must be the worse part x
Mal
I can only second the comment by Jane especially if the owner is being put under pressure and not thinking straight at an emotional time!

Thanks for letting us know. Are you sure the owner is happy with this arrangement as Flow is stolen property and the legal ownership is with the owner...
sue
Flow is no longer missing, she is not back with her owner but he has come to an agreement with the people that have her now (not the people that took her),she will be staying with them and being returned to her owner if she ever has to be rehomed, thank you everyone for all your help and support x

I know it's a real long shot but has the owner checked the Husky found (32521)
It was found with another but thats not to say someone didn't dump two stolen dogs!! There is no picture at the moment to compare the finders description to Flows photo.

Zion was found in the middle of Stroud and handed into the local vets and is back now in Devon.
Mollychops
I will alert Stroud coord and we will raise her profile in the area. I will alert Teckells , and try and get as many posters out as we can, and will find out exactly where Zion was picked up
sue
Jayne, thank you,i'm sorry i just missed your call, what other info did you want regarding Stroud? The lady that handed Zion in to the vets has kindly offered to take a missing poster for Flow into her local newspaper for us and also the vets that held her for us are being forwarded photos aswel just incase she were to turn up.xLast edited: 2011-09-07 16:08:04 by sue

Worth checking out Sue so contact the 'Travellers Liaison Officer' give them a poster of the dogs ask them to check the sites .
Puddies
have emailed poster to all vets I can think of in the Exeter area x
sue
There is a site (Gypsy) in Plymouth where dogs (stolen) have been found before now,he did in the past have problems with a couple that live in that area!! That was over a pup that they purchased from him,he had nothing but trouble from them and the police had to be called, but the police do things in there own time so its a waiting game!! Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated, thank you xx
Puddies
I hate to say it but is there any travellers currently in the area, not saying that all travellers steal dogs but certainly a fairly large proportion of missing/stolen dogs seem to end up in their hands, it sounds fairly rural is there a local hunt that may be able to keep their eyes open for you? I'll keep racking my brains, if you think it will help I could drop posters off to all veterinary practices in Exeter incase the dogs end up coming this way x
sue
Have been to work and only just checked in for messages sorry,They do indeed live at my friends stables with land, they have never wandered off before and they do indeed live with their dad, half sister and 2 other females, none of which have gone missing now or before either!! Our feeling is that they have been taken,i have been told by other people that there have been people looking at and asking questions about their dogs!!
Puddies
I think she said that the dogs live on land at a stables with 4? other big dogs in between Newton Abbot and Totness, only these 2 have gone missing, and they never normally go wandering off and they havent been seen in the area, which makes them think the dogs have been taken. The dogs belong to a friend of Sue's and she is trying to help him find themLast edited: 2011-08-10 14:59:23 by Puddies
DogLostReynard
email sent to Sue late last night with advice & scenting instuctions can we have circumstances and perhaps a more precise location if you think it will help.
Good Luck!
Puddies
Hi Sue, Im the person who spoke to you on preloved, I know they are both mixed breeds, but to people who do not know much about dogs, they would assume they were husky types, so may not think to look under cross breed descriptions, I asked my sister (who is cluless about breeds!) what she thought they were, she said huskies so I just wondered if it would help putting them down as a particular breed cross xLast edited: 2011-08-09 15:19:58 by Puddies
sue
Hi Puddies, they are not actually huskies, they are mixed breed as they have 4 breeds in their making.x
Admin, thank you,one is microchipeed but the opther isn't,i dont have the microchip details as they are my friends dogs,i said i would advertise for him as he is devastated and feeling very low,all shelters, vets and police have been notified and also petlog x
Puddies
would it be better to have these put up as husky crosses or similar as people may not think to look under cross breed if they had found these
