- Hi Katy, have you got enough posters up around your area, THE MORE THE BETTER!!!..Give one to the milkman, postman, window cleaner, dustman..Get them in pubs, garages, local shops and large supermarket if you have one..People can take them down so worth reviewing and adding more..Posters can really do there magic especially if someone has taken him in..Keep checking with the council re Dog Wardens and the highways..Im sure you are doing all you can and hope you hear something very soon.. :)x

- Hi Hippy Chick, We still haven't got Ben back. He's been gone a week now. We really do think someone has him now, and can only hope that they hand him in somewhere. Missing him terribly. x

- Received an email from Bens owner today. There was a positive sighting of Ben the night after he went missing, just on the next street from where he lives. It was late at night and he was eating food on the street. He is a very timid dog and may well still be hiding during the day, only coming out for food. Have mentioned about going out early morning/late at night, maybe getting a portable barbecue going. If he is that close maybe leave the gate open and food in the garden. Also to poster everywhere to hopefully bring news of more sightings.Last edited: 2011-08-13 23:28:00 by Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester

- Spoke to Bens owner. They went to Leigh Cats and Dogs Home yesterday, Ben wasn't there. They did have information of another sighting and spent hours yesterday in the area but no luck so far.

- Spoken to Bens owner. Ben slipped out of the door on a visit from the postman. He is 10 years old and doesn't usually go far. The family are visiting Leigh Cats and Dogs Home tomorrow. They have already checked out the 2 founds (242995 & 242814) with the AW's who have told them neither are Ben. They have been postering all over town and spreading the word on FB with friends and family. It is quite rural where they live so they have been checking farmland and outbuildings. They are doing all the right things. They had a sighting of him the same day and as it is quite rural and know which general direction he went in have advised maybe laying a scent to back home, may be worth a try. He is very timid and may be hiding somewhere local. Keeping my fingers crossed that Ben is home soon :)x

- Sometimes descriptions are wrong or collars have been changed. Please double check. Also sometimes people change their minds and keep the dog. Just in case. x

- I'm afraid the one in Oldham wasn't Ben,the description of the collar was different to the one he was wearing.
