- Hooray
Turks owner contacted us. He is a homeless gentleman and Turk was taken from him. The man Broke down when they were reunited and Turk went mad. Im sooooooooo glad we managed to reunite this pair. Thank you to the cornwall co-ordinator - 2011-08-10 09:55 ZZ - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- I have spoken to both the St Austell and the Brent DWs, and put them in touch with each other. We are all hoping for a positive outcome for this little guy, who seems to be the most chilled dog on the planet, and very respectful of cats!

- Thank you for that, i did try to get through to cornwall yesterday. I did manage to speak to someone living at teh address in cornwall that teh dog owner was registered to and was nformed that they had moved back to london with the dog a long time ago. I have contacted the vets in the area the dog was found but no one recognises the dog. This is worrying as there are no spaces in any animal homes.

- Re the chip address - so many owners fail to update their contact details when they move, so it could just be that.
However, there have been many cases recently of Staffies being drugged and stolen from peoples' gardens in the Camborne/Redruth area. St Austell is a totally different region of Cornwall, so I have no idea if Staffies are being stolen there. I will contact the dog warden for that area to see if a similar dog has been reported as missing.
