- Other Info Found to be microchipped to person in the Grimsby area but telephone number (land line) no longer active. All local vets contacted but dog is not registered with anyone of them. Local dog warden informed on 08/08/2011. Finder holding dog.

- Spoken to East Lindsey council and they have taken details and are going to get dog warden to check if there have been any dogs of this description reported as missing from Skegness.

Two people have been to "owner" as on chip details, each without knowing other was going. Thanks to both.
Story told to both was that 'owner' had only had the dog about four weeks but she had sold him on to someone in Skegness. No details of who this was nor any contact details. Reason for selling on was asthma.
As Skegness is even further away than Grimsby from where the dog was found it is very unlikely that the dog has got to Barnsley, South Yorkshire on it's own.
Have got to say that Tye is very friendly, good with other dogs of all sizes and loves children. If not reclaimed he will be staying with finder. - 2011-08-17 14:00 Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

- the person in Grimsby this dog is chipped to has been tracked down but they sold the dog on to someone in the Skegness area unfortunately they have no contact details for them !

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
