I can tell you all a little more - he was actually taken from my property. I suggest that everyone locally keeps an eye out for people "door knocking" and asking about doing work. They are clearly only doing this to suss out if there is anything at the property to take and sell... and this now seems to include any type of dog... not just the working breeds. You know... I don't think that I can thank this site and all of you guys enough. You've kept me so strong and positive throughout this ordeal. I am also a helper, I hope to God that this never happens to any of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you xx - 2011-08-26 11:08 Goldenfrodo

- I'm so happy for you & Storm. Poor little feller but it won't be long before his nasty experience is a distant memory.

- Thank you all for your help. I am pleased to say that he was reported yesterday to the dog warden, recognised from the advert that I had put in the paper. Storm was found in "suspicious circumstances" at the traveler site near buncefield. He was very shaken, dirty and in a poor state when returned to me this morning. I think that he is VERY happy to be home... he actually really enjoyed being bathed!

- Sorry that there has been no news of Storm. Have you contacted the local paper to put an article in? Also, contact the Parish Council and any businesses near to where Storm went missing and ask them to display a poster. I iwll start emailing his poster around based on business addresses in the area.

- Thank you all for your help so far. Sadly Storm is still missing with no sightings of him nor anyone reporting to the relevant parties that they have found him. I just want him home so much.

- There is a Scottie X listed as Battersea ( 8 months) so they may well know history but please double check

- Wheteabouts is HP3? Has the local dog warden been contacted? If not contact then first thing and find out where missing dogs from this area are taken when found and visit the kennels in person

- Sorry to hear that Storm is missing. I will spread the word amongst Scottie folk in the area. It is a good idea to contact Boarding Kennels and Grooming Parlours in the area with Storm being a trimmed breed. Hope there is news soon.

- Sorry to hear Storm is missing. Details have been posted on www.scottiedoglovers.co.uk to help spread the word, and I have also asked for details to be posted on the Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Scheme (STECS) website. I hope Storm is found safe and well very soon.
