Just back from holiday and catching up. The thought of these type of horrible "people" out there is sickening. So upset. RIP Diesel and Ripley at Rainbow Bridge.

I did read this sad news the other morning but couldn't write anything at the time as I was so upset. I am so sorry for your loss there are some very sick nasty people in this world. As promised I lit candles and said prayers for Diesel. Ripley and their owners. Hope this is of some comfort, as of course other member`s comments etc. One day the perpetrators of this act will get their come uppance. I hope it is sooner than they think (low life scum). Will pray for you again. (Hope Diesel and Ripley come back to haunt them). God Bless.

This is truely one of the saddest things I have read,I don't know how you get over something like this. I hope who ever done this gets whats coming to them. My love and thoughts are with Ripley an Diesel and of course there very loving ownes. xxx

I have no idea how you get over something like this. Well, truth be told, you never do, I guess, but owners, you need to find a way to survive this for Ripley & Diesel. They need you to live on until it is time to be together again. Your beloved dogs are together and always will be. You know they are safe and nothing can ever harm them again. Please know that whatever happened, they had each other. And, as J MO said, these evil non humans do not have them. They are back with you, albeit in spirit, but still with YOU. They are free now and back home, safe in the arms of God. I'm going to e-mail you something; it may be of use to you at sometime in the future. God bless Ripley & Diesel and your loving owners, together forever. x

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE POEM

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

How terrible to hear tbhis. Be rest assured owners that these babies are now back to their normal selves and are now playing at the bridge. A friend of mine often sees his dogs (now deceased) playing. Other people have seen them too. I would like to say what I think of these scumbags, but am afraid it would not be printable. May they never find peace in this world, nor the next. Will pray and light candles for their owners tomorrow at my local church. God bless you all and these babies.

I have some sad news. I can't begin to imagine how their owner is feeling and readin their post on the forum brought tears to my eyes. There's some sick people out there and I think people need to be aware.

I would just like to send a MASSIVE thank you to everybody who had thought about my dogs and kept an eye out for them!!!! My babies have been found, but it is not good news. They were found dead and dumped in a human waste sewage tank, my bullmastiff had a rope tied round his front leg! The police have been informed. As you can imagine we are totally devastated to say the least!!!!!!!! We had a funeral at home for them today. My heart is broken! Thank you all again!! xxx

I was walking my dog on Saturday 20 August bottom of Underbank, S36 and my dog picked up a strong smell of something around, he was playing me up something terrible, a proper handful he was and I was having to drag him along. At the time I did think it was probably a bitch on heat out and about. But he doesn't usually display such behaviour, so I'm taking notice of him trying to tell me something ...as dogs do.

However, because my dog has now alerted me to something, which could possibly be your missing pets I have now printed off some posters and I will display them around the 'Underbank' S36 area.

Might also be worth noting that these last couple of weeks vehicles have been broken into / stolen in the Stocksbridge / Deepcar area - so I keep hearing on the grapevine anyway.

Hi - Everyone - keep your eye on 'Bullmastiff dogs for sale' sites - for anyone selling this particular breed of dog, they usually display photographs of any dogs that they wish to sell, which is helpful. Hope you get some happy news soon and you are reunited with your beloved pets.

I have spoken to Diesels owner who has contacted the dog warden and stray kennels and has been postering. They have a Crime number for this theft. There has been no word yet of Diesel or Ripley the female German Shepherd (doglost ID 31948) he was stolen with. More postering will be done plus media and radio coverage. Hoping Diesel and Ripely are back home very soon x
