Hi Guys....just to let you all know, Misty is now home here with us. She is settling nicely, and, although we have some issues with her chasing just one of our cats, everything is going smoothly, hopefully, we can sort that out in time. I guess she can now be placed in the reunited thread....YEY!! XXX

Hi Suzie. I can tell you what I know about the situation. Dog on pound page certainly looks like Misty, that dog is currently at Great Dane rescue. It says below owners of lost dog claim she is not theirs?? Great Dane Rescue have contacted dog warden but have received no reply, and no queries from apparent owner. She has had to have several op's since being in their care, so has been in recovery and obviously waiting to see if owner above makes an appearance. She is being adopted by myself, and will hopefully be home with me sometime next week. Have not been able to say before as it's been a very odd situation?? I will let you know AS SOON as she is with me so she can be moved to reunited. :-) XX

Any updates? Unfortunately I didn't even receive a thank you or an acknowledgement for the text I sent to the mobile number above regarding Ccc. I contacted them the Ccc and never received a reply! Can someone explain what has happened regarding this missing beauty? If now reunited or rehomed can we move this one to the happy section of 'Reunited' ? To save kind volunteers of this site wasting their time continuing to look?

I can't say much, but I do know that if the pound dog is this girl, and the owners choose not to reclaim her, she has a good home to go to. If it isn't their girl, then she certainly has a doppelganger??

How complicated can it be, its either the missing dog and they dont want her back or its not.In either case she needs a home.

Is she chipped? Page says yes and no! Have been checking CCC site on a daily basis to see if the girl was claimed. I think its fair to say that I am not the only one who thinks this odd..

The dog on the pound page was found mid July...is this when your Misty went missing, it says above that this dog was lost August??

I've contacted the lady who registered Misty on here for the owner and she has contacted the owner again to see if they are sure it's not here. Maybe the microchip has just not shown up.

I to am suprised it is not her at the pound, please go see this dog as the chest splash is identical. She is such a beautiful girl good luck x infact the more i compare the pictures the more i am convinced they are the same dog :(

I've just spoken to the owners friend who posted Misty on here and the owners have checked it out. Unfortunately the dog on the Camarthenshire site is not her :(

Looks just like Misty. Really hope she is still there! Has anything been heard from the owners yet? It does say she is microchipped so I hope this hasn't been missed and she has been rehomed.

I posted the Carmarthenshire great dane on facebook etc, hoping someone would see her, it really looks like Misty, fingers crossed she is still there :)) The bichon on there is dog id 31154 Harvey, just hoping he has gone home too x x
